Glad you like your Glock GG. I am not ruling out getting one someday. I have two polymer frame pistols now and find the biggest adjustment is the trigger, believe it or not. The polymer frame causes a different feel to the trigger for some reason. The Glock I would purchase would be the long slide in 10mm. That has become the popular gun to carry in Alaska if you don't want to lug a 454 Casul around in the brush. I am holding off getting a 10 mm because I know I would like it too much, then new pistol, new ammo, new reloading dies, other pistols become safe queens, etc.. Gonna enjoy the FNX for a while and decide what gets sold to make room for something else.

Having owned and owning non AR weapons that are piston designed from the ground up, I really can ascertain no signifigant advantage to piston designs for the way I use my firearms, but I was never in the sandbox, either. As my wife would attest, I avoid the dishwasher like the plague, so I would have no clue. Plus with a 15 round mag, it is a lot more fun to go shoot up your dishware after dinner than wash it. With the price of targets, its competitive. plus the wife gets to go to Ikea more to buy new stuff, so she's happy.

a little strange that he never fires the gun in the video. It shows him holding it then he starts playing with the grip. As I couldn't replicate it. I am somewhat suspicious if something else wasnt done to the firearm before the film. Any number of chemicals or heat treatments (microwaves, etc) could have been done to the frame to destroy its molecular integrity. So like I said, a very large grain of salt as to its authenticity.

that would be a sweet set up with interchangeable mags. Have you had any issues with grip flex like in that video in this thread? Seems to be a bit controversial right now.

98; Part of the reason I like the FNX is the size of the grip. Below is my Sig SP2022 which is a large full size auto. The curse of big hands. My FNX for comparison.

Have a salt stone, never use it anymore. Only thing I will say is it makes the best tasting grilled mushrooms I have ever tasted. Also a good job on grilled shrimp. Every thing else, it is just too salty even for a salt addict like me.

tried to replicate the film, after shooting 2 and 1/2 boxes of ammo through mine, I left it on my black dashboard in the sun for an hour while I shot other stuff. Couldn't. There is a little grip flex, but not much. I take that film with a huge grain of salt. Good idea though about the love making, if the FNX makes love as well as it shoots, I am a lucky man.

Looks killer Shepp, let us know how it tastes. Quick review. I picked up a Char Griller Akorn earlier in the season. Couldn't afford a Big Green Egg, and these are the same concept. Menards if you have them had it on sale for $248. Amazon usually around $299. It is porcelin coated twin wall steel with insulation in between the walls. It has really excellent air control. So far I can get the heat down to 240F, or as high as 700F for searing. With an optional smoking stone insert it serves as a passable smoker, but is actually more of a convection oven. It is based on the traditional asian kamodo ovens used for thousands of years. Amazing how it retains moisture in everything it cooks. Steaks and roasts are juicy, so is chicken. Takes a lot less time to cook and uses very little charcoal. Use lump charcoal only, however. I will never go back to a Weber.

Bad photo, but the Kydex holster from Blade Tec fits very well and is very secure. I put on the paddle style backing and it is by far and away the most comfortable paddle I have ever used. The pistol does not seem that big or bulky with it. The magazines fit the mag holder very securely but I haven't put it on my belt yet. Decided to hold off on the tritium night sights. Might have a,gunsmith do those, haven't decided yet.

Half the cops shot this year were black. So I say, Black Cop Lives Matter! I don't see Black Lives Matter protesting that fact. Where are they when police of their own race needs them? When the 13% of America that is black accounts for only 13% of the murders in the US, maybe I will take the time to listen to what they have to say about violence against them. Heck get it down to 25% of the murders, and I promise to listen. At 52% of the murders committed in the US, The best way to save black lives is to clean up black on black violence. Do that and I will listen and try to help somehow.

can't add anything, Hemi summed it up really good. This whole BLM crud overlooks their role in fomenting a lot if not most the violence in this country. Clean up your own neighborhood and a lot of these problems disappear.
