  7. Happy Thanksgiving to all my brothers here. hope your day is filled with joy and of course the smell of burnt powder. Have a great weekend take care and god bless
  8. Good hunt shepp i hear ya on the cold. Suppose to be 20 below here next week not looking forward to that. Again great job on the deer. All of our deer have died off to bad winter and disease. 4 years ago you could get 1 buck tag and 12 does tags this year the quit selling doe tags. Pretty sad up here from what it use to be.

Thanks guys ya. its some pretty amazing country up here plenty rough. We usually take the horses in to pack out but since this one wasn't to far it came out on our backs. The wifes bull last year was around 4+ miles pack out. In some really rough stuff. i agree with you magwa frozen meat and packing is no fun. She will be good eating this winter

Ya was a good day. We have left elk out the last for years over night and have not had any problems with predators. bad part its -15 below this morning so they may be a little more bold on a easy meal.just getting geared up and gonna head back out to get the rest. I though it was cold yesterday poop its 20 degrees colder now.

Was a cold miserable day 5 degrees out with a 10+ wind. I had a cow tag for the Missouri River breaks. packed a front and rear quarter out just before dark going back in for the rest in the am. Was hoping to use my SI 308, but went with the Remember 700 5R in 300WM. Took her at about 250 will have exact range tomorrow for i forgot my fn range finder. Was only about a mile and half pack back to pickup. All in all a great day hunting
  18. Lol robo so true
  19. Loading 44g Varget at 2.79 coal in hornady match brass with 168 SMK 2568fps federal match primer so far this load is working well for me. Loaded up some test loads with CFE223 47g everything else the same as above shot 2693fps might go back to this later have 6 lbs of CFE 223 think this has potential with some more tweaking
  20. Went with surefire so i can run there can at some point. Lot of great brakes out there but wanted at least one that was suppresser ready. The BABC looked fn cool but the noise was unbearable. Shot 20 rounds 180g hornady superperformance one after noon through the BABC and my head hurt ears rang for at least 2days
