  1. Good work sir! Congrats
  2. Ya it's a awesome lake hard to believe that there is a lake in the middle of the prairie that has more shore line then the state of California. Great bike ride to loved rolling across the damn.
  3. Glasgow just down the road
  4. Welcome from MT looks like your rig is shooting good.
  5. Just bought same rifle in 308 from a buddy of mine. Have not shot it yet waiting on a new stock and working on glass options. My buddy shot it in a different stock when he first bought it. It was sub moa easy. Should have this rifle up and running by October I'll post a pic when it's done.
  6. Been very happy with there gas block. Out of my Wilson and pri and slr I'd say hands down slr. There rails look very good have a 6 creedmore build planned for this winter with a fast twist to shoot the heavies. My plan is to run an slr rail.
  7. Good work looks good!
  8. I run one on my 308 its an MOA shot out to 800 with it and spot hits out to a grand for a buddy. Mine is FFP. Love this scope. Have one more on the way but in mils. Scope has always tracked perfectly for the money they are very tough to beat. Imo
  9. Welcome from MONTANA
  10. I roll a 168SMK in front of 44g of Varget in my gas rifle with a 155 lapua scenars in a bolt gun running 46g of Varget. Haven't tried this load in my gas gun. But im gonna start at 44.5 and work up with the 155s
  11. 5 shot group suppressed with a gemtech. 55gr hollow point in front of 27g of benchmark fed 205 primer again at only 50 yards. Will be hitting the reloading bench to load up some more to see how this gun does at 100 I only probley have 40 rounds through it.
  12. Ya I was very surprised I never planed on shooting anything lighter then 60gr out of this gun. Was very surprised how well those 40s grouped. I had another group of some 55gr handlebars I shot suppressed that was pretty good as well
  13. Finally got my SPR build up and running. this is at 4 shot group cause I didn't have a fifth. 40gr V Max in front of benchmark powder. Can remember the charge. This is only at 50 yards things look promising for the 100 yard line. I didn't think the 40s would do very good in a 1/7 twist they shot the best between some 64gr Winchester Ranger and some other 55gr hand loads I had got some 77gr Bergers going to try next. Barrel is made by McGowen Precision Barrels in kalsispell MT.
  14. ^^^^^^^^ I believe this to be true !
  15. I just ordered the stock and buffer kit in FDE gonna be my new pick-up gun. Prob gonna run a 11.5 barrel not sure yet. Im pretty excited about this build
  16. Elite tactical components outta AZ
  17. Yeah looks pretty bad. She was telling me the skin is the worst part for causing reactions then the fruit its self next. She did test for months even went to the Mayo Clinic and couldn't figure out what it was.we figured it out after we had another friend that had the same problem I caused by eating mangoes.she quit eating mangoes and it cleared up after a bit
  18. Welcome from Montana
  19. My wife suffers from the same mango allergie. She loves them but has to stay far away. Not to pretty when they come together
  20. Sweet deal brother. Let us know how it shoots.
  21. Ya my LGS put a order in for me when I first heard about it.They got a few lbs in the other day. Ill keep an eye out for the 800x thanks mike
  22. Im going have to try these MIKERIEZED 10mm loads. I just picked up pound of the new CFE 223 pistol looking forward to trying it
  23. Just put this trigger im my SI 308 really liking it only have shot it 20 times with it but really like it.I had the ssa-e with the flat trigger in it first. Also a great trigger but I was having trouble when I'd switch from my flat trigger to my curved one on my win mag. I'm going to lighting up the the 2nd stage a little more on the DMR. I got mine for $245 you won't be disappointed if ya pick one up
  24. Oh I think a slug is probably as good as anything they ended up killing it with anther slug just not to the forehead. And who knows what angle she was firing. It was point blank though. Bear spray really works very well i think its probley your best first line of defense. granted you will never catch me only carrying bear spray. When my daughter was 3months old The wife and ran into a male grizzly up in Glacier while hiking. He was about 25yards above us on the trail and huffing at us. The wind was all was all wrong for pepper spray and was afraid it would cause my daughter to quit breathing. Everything worked out he followed us for a bit and then went on his marry way. In this case lead would've been my choice. Like I said I carry bolth.
  25. My wife worked on the bear team in glacier national park. They carried 12ga with slugs. Had a bear get hit by a train and broke its back. They where looking for the bear and it lunged at her in some deep brush. She said the slugs would just ricocheted right off his forehead.
