  1. I so badly want to do a magnified EOTech setup :)
  2. Ive got the black widow plate, and plan to get one of the tactical link 1/2 point convertible
  3. I do that virtually every order, including other stuff at Amazon.com. I'll wait a while to make sure i'm ordering enough for free shipping, and then doubtless forget one small thing that's a $3 item, and then have to wait weeks to order it till I've got $35 in in the cart.
  4. I'd say sort of the same, the regular springs are duty rated to last as long pretty much as the barrel will. The one question I have that might make the flat spring worthwhile is whether it makes less of the sproingy noise while you're shooting. Its not like its excessively more expensive anyhow.
  5. they are, basic lower range is $300-400, basic upper range if you can find one is 200+. But its not entirely because they're billet, its partially because of volume of sales as well.
  6. Thank god I work from home, so gas mileage isn't a part of my car purchase equation.
  7. I can't hustle worth a crap anyhow :)
  8. if I recall right, their black Friday sale will be the lower for $350 including the BAD ASS + takedown pins.
  9. Welcome from florida, and thanks for your service. Hopefully your retirement fund includes plenty of spare cash, you will constantly have people talking about the coolest new thing (I'm considering a $500 trigger setup for mine now....)
  10. I thought i'd share. having this custom made for pool shooting cost me getting decent glass on my rifles any time soon :)
  11. Oh geez yeah, I see now looking at his pictures. I guess I assumed that after the recent craze, even finding the older A3 would be unlikely, particularly at a cabelas. What the hell was that still doing in the Cabelas? when was the last time they manufactured those? I guess it could have been a used one traded in? No cabelas local to me so I don't know if they do that.
  12. no offense to you or the other brothers here stuck there, but for the most part the douches there deserve a 250 mile each way trip each day.
  13. so far as I recall, the try MRF and TRX were both made in high And here the TRXs are at midway, on clearance. they might have the MRFs too http://www.midwayusa.com/product/3058127294/troy-industries-trx-extreme-battle-rail-modular-free-float-handguard-dpms-lr-308-with-high-profile-upper-receiver
  14. Whew, that makes much more sense now :)
  15. Also welcome from Florida
  16. not that I would ever try to talk someone out of a DPMS build into an Armalite ;) , but if you have existing PMAGs and no prior 308s i'm guessing you're talking about 223 pmags, which don't fit in either platform. the DPMS platform takes the 308 pmags, a completely different model. so just worth mentioning.
  17. I ended up with one of the 1-2 point convertible magpuls, and will end up eventually buying one of the 1-2 point tactical link ones. Once my amazon balance creeps back up high enough
  18. I've got 2 spare lowers sitting here empty
  19. those are going to sell for $500....
  20. I'm pretty sure you could roll one of these up to shoot someone, and the first report would be about it being a high powered assault rifle
  21. I almost bought one in the 90s like that. was around $1800 with both setups if I recall right.
  22. Welcome, and condolences for your state of residence.
  23. Welcome from Florida
  24. A tassimo coffee machine, a dell venue 8 pro windows 8.1 tablet
  25. I dunno, I think they are more similar than different. They both cost a lot to get out of a contract with.
