Dang... too bad my daughter's practically taken over the entire 800 sq ft basement or I'd move my entire reloading operation down there.

I question the longevity of the needle-roller bearings. Used to rip through a ton of neede bearings back I was running gas R/C. Probably more than good enough for range use though.

This. I start with 400 grit emery cloth and lap the sear surface lightly, followed by 1000 grit and then 1500/2000 grit. Finish off with lapping compound. Other aftermarket options are geissele triggers. PM if you're interested. Got a couple SSA's (2-stage) in stock.

Heh... I got a BCM Mod 3 for 308 at the shop... been staring me in the face every day and I'm wondering if it should go on my 308 or if it should go to a new home. :D ....already "stole" the BCM mod 3 for my 300 blk.... haha

The SR25 barrel nut is the same specs as the DPMS-pattern barrel nut.... so you do have some flexibility if you want to use a different forend.

Stick with the ones that take the standard SR25/magpul mags. Less headache when buying mags, and also when you get another 308 you can swap them around.

We use MAS barrels in our builds. They are excellent value. PM me if you're interested. I have several of their 300 barrels in stock, and if you want a complete upper we can build you one too.
