Magwa, I think you went "too small" in the first place with the 938. It seems like the lady would have preferred something larger in the first place and the Kimber Pro Carry II was more her size. :D Could have picked up a P227 Carry or P220 Carry or 1911 Carry Nightmare..... if you wanted to stick with sigs. :)

+13 on the magpul mags. The DPMS and Pro Mag ones are junk. I had a bunch of soft points (Hornady American Whitetail) and the metal mags gouged a deep groove along the soft tip as the bolt carrier stripped the rounds off the mags. The Magpul 20LR ones work flawlessly. The Pro Mag ones also needed to be modified to work properly (the last round never fed correctly with them) TL:DR - MAGPUL 20LR/SR!! ...the other alternative will be the new Lancer L7AWM mags... still waiting for them to turn up.

You're talking complete .308 uppers, which are almost unseen "in the wild" and I have yet to see any of them at a an LGS. You'll find complete .308ARs but the uppers alone are almost impossible to locate, so that leaves you two options - local gun shows, or buy it off the internet. :D I know the CMMG MK3s have a spotty history but I think they have the majority of the issues fixed over the last year or so. Haven't heard of any problems with the ones that my buddies picked up. ....that said, I'd kill for a complete KAC SR25 with a 20" barrel.... :)) :))

The entire CMMG MK3 rifle is very well built, with only one catch - tighten the barrel nut before you shoot it. Not sure if it will apply to the newer RKM barrel nuts though, but no harm to check. The actual MK3 (.308) upper receiver is CNC machined very well out of billet. If I were looking for another complete upper, I have no hesitation picking up another CMMG upper and sticking it on whatever lower. BTW, the MK3 upper has no provisions for any forward assist assembly. Not like it's needed....

Koreans aren't bad at all. Unlike the Chinese, they respect intellectual property rights and don't make counterfeits. BTW, Daewoo (and Hyundai) also manufacture CNC machines. They are pretty decent and almost on par with the Japanese CNC machinery.

After seeing crash tests of Chinese-made autos, it makes me cringe that they are trying to export them to the US.
