  1. Welcome from AZ!
  2. Nothing wrong with Mega, they are a premium product for sure. However if cost is a concern then I would make the same statement for Aero Precision and a fraction of the cost <thumbsup>. Welcome from AZ!
  3. Its a heluva scenario to imagine getting caught up in. You are likely going to be caught off guard any way you slice it. I have to remind myself all the time to remain situationally aware and I fail at that too often. I'd like to speak with all the bravado in the world like a host of other Internet Rambo's. The truth is, I'd be pissing myself in a no shiit terror attack and can't honestly answer how I would react. Obviously the situation would dictate and there are way to many varibles to even start to try and plan for. Even then, any plans are going straight out the window the minute the first shot is fired. Lots of good food for thought in that article though. Good read and thanks for sharing
  4. <munch>
  5. Yup, this. I'd rather have it done right than done quick. Mech Armor is tops in my book. Not the least bit worried here. <thumbsup>
  6. Rob, Any word on expected shipment dates yet?
  7. Yeah, that's about right...
  8. Some people's kids.... :wtf:
  9. It's strange. It's like a 'hair trigger' bolt catch. Like I said before, it locks back just fine on an empty mag, but with no mag in the well, it just barely works. I figured out that, with no mag, if I pull the bolt full rear with the CH then engage the catch button it will hold, but just barely. Any type of shock will send the bolt into battery (like setting it down on the table too hard, bumping the buttstock, etc.) I've not taken the time to run it full to ground just yet.

    You AZ guys

So I can't help but wonder if he had a trust for his firearms if his investment wouldn't have been protected somewhat. Wouldn't have helped him personally so much but with a proper trust he could have been temporarily removed as a trustee until the dust settled and avoided outright confiscation. Yet another reason I see to keep all of it in a trust. Even the title 1 stuff. Am I naive in my thinking on this?
  11. Rob needs his ass b!tch slapped with some warning points! One for a half-assed attempt to prank us and another for thinking we'd actually believe that sh!t... <lmao>
  12. Bought one a few weeks back at Trading Place Pawn for that price too but didn't post it because they are OOS as well.
  13. I recently purchased the PA scope on my .308 AR and so far I'm not dissatisfied. I've only taken it out once to zero it. I had a little bit of difficulty initially finding zero with it at first but when I did get it finally dialed in it seems to be holding. Good light gathering and decent eye relief. Parallax adjustment does what it's supposed to do. Turret clicks feel a little squishy, but there is a definite audible 'click' and the mil/mil setup is nice to say nothing of it being FFP. Once I finally got onto the paper it was pretty short work from there to count the dots in the reticle and count the clicks to get to zero. I've only shot it at 100 yards where I could tell I was hitting anything, but when I do my part the bullet goes where it should. I attempted several near 500 yrd shots shooting uphill from a sitting position and shooting off of trigger sticks but I 'think' I only hit once and most likely not at all. My buddy spotting says I hit once and I know I had several very near misses out of about 15 attempts to hit a man sized steel torso. However, the wind was pretty gusty left to right that day and nailing the wind read was a real challenge. FWIW, my buddy who was with me wasn't doing any better with his 30-06 bolt gun at that distance. I'm not the most precise or even the most experienced shooter in the world and I believe the PA scope and my rifle are capable of far more accuracy than I am. I've run about 80 rounds so far on mine and no issues with it coming apart or anything like that. Just issues with myself doing my part right HAHA!.. <thumbsup>
  14. Good luck with it brother! Never really got into it but I new a lot of guys in my old AFSC that got theirs (2E1X3). I could probably help you with some of the techie stuff when it comes to HF transmissions if you have questions.
  15. OK, I had to bite. $114.00 w/ shipping. Gonna drop this in one of my 5.56 guns. Already rocking the SSA-E in the .308 and I like that one for what I do with it. FUUCK!! Thanks Rob! I'm supposed to be shopping for my wife's birthday - not lurking around here blowing money on sh!t I don't n... um..well maybe I do need this. FUCKS! I gotta start going to AA (ARs Anonymous).
  16.
  17. IF this F U C K gets an Honorable Discharge, I'm officially traveling to the White House to drop trau on the lawn and wipe my ass with my DD-214 while I set fire to my dress blues.

  22. Looking good brother!
  23. I'm for Rand Paul, but he'll get burried in the primaries by the rank and file.
  24. Well... let's not be too rash... The idea of Jeb winning the primary makes me throw up in my mouth but you can guaran-damn-tee I'll sure as hell vote for him before I vote for Madame Clunton... or any other liberal dipshits! But I share your sentiment completely! <thumbsup>
  25. Very nice! Would love to hear what she weighs in at. My money is on roughly 8.1 lbs nekked and 10.5-11ish with optics and a full 20rd mag. <thumbsup>
