  1. She looks purty! Big girls need love too!
  2. You can thank Jimmy Carter for that! He banned the use of napalm, flamethrowers, and Unicorns in 1978. The libtards just have to ruin it for everyone.
  3. Or the cargo pants pockets on BDU's. Do they make BDU's in 3XL? My old chocolate chippies seem to be a little on the snug side....
  4. Crap sammiches! The 25 round gen3 magpuls done even come close to closing on either model, but I suspected that. So they will get used as open tops. What I didn't expect was how difficult it was to fit two mags in the pouch. It's like putting stockings on a fat girl. It would be virtually impossible to put the mags in under stress. I don't have any 20 round magpuls but I suspect they may close, but still be difficult to load 2 mags in. The Lancers fit much easier. But may still be difficult to re holster under stress.
  5. Got a sales link?
  6. Warne QD rings, and my Magpul mags are out for delivery.
  7. Here's a few...
  8. I just used the single pin spanner for a CAR stock....
  9. The thread is what did you BUY today, not what did you STEAL......
  10. The molle stuff works with the Alice belt. The higher quality stuff fits better. I have a condor pistol pouch that doesn't have enough strips on the back to keep it tight, so it flops around a little bit.
  11. As FaRKle! Stated..... So in addition to the three tactical tailor flight lites, I picked up a standard just to see the differences. The standard is a much heavier build, and retains the mags much more securely. The flight lite allow for a little more movement, because of less reinforcement, but the bungee system on both types negates that. The lite seems to be faster to open and close but it makes the typical Velcro noise.
  12. I was in a local junk store today and spied a bin full of 20+ m1956 mag pouches for the M14. I wanted to pick up a couple to try with Pmags, but it didn't have any cash with me. They all looked serviceable and none were in new condition. Most of my gear is Alice so it wouldn't be out of place with my equipment. And they look cool. Does anyone use these? I imagine they would only work with the 20 round metal mags. So far I'm using a couple 20 round Lancer mags, and I have some 25 round Pmags on the way.
  13. I have the same scope on my ar10, I'm impressed with all their products so far. I got a tactical tailor .308 mag pouch today, I'll have to post a review on it vs. the flight lite.
  14. If the true battle were won Sig would no longer be selling many braces, because the ENTIRE NFA process would be declared unconstitutional. FA, SBR, Supressors, and manufacturing would "Not be infringed"
  15. The build was pretty smooth, I ended up needing to change my bolt catch to the armalite 10b version and modifying it. My blem set had a tiny ding on the rail that was covered by a sharpie and the rear buis. There are a couple versions, mine used the armalite barrel nut in addition to the bolt catch.
  16. Well here's a pic of my 300 Blackout! Just a few more parts to go... I'm thinking I may end up with and SBR, but I'll start with a pistol.... Maybe a 10.5" barrel.
  17. I have the matrix aerospace, and the ruger hand guard on my build. Chris Riedeman is solid to deal with. I finally saw the ruger sr762 in a local shop yesterday, and I have to say the fit and finish of the matrix version is light years ahead of the ruger version. There were some glaring anodizing imperfections in the ruger, and my matrix set has a built in tensioning device at the rear pin lug to keep it tighter. (Although it doesn't need it) I built an 18" DI, for half the price of the ruger. If I didn't have the limited skills to build one, I would buy a ruger vs the dpms offerings. I still haven't seen an armalite in person to comment on it.
  18. Double D post.
  19. Welcome to the insanity.
  20. The new bolt catch is in place and it functions perfectly! I had a chance to look at the Ruger 7.62, whatever the model number it is, today and I do have to say I like the quality of my build much better. And at half the price..
  21. I bought a cheap ass one for my scoped ar15, from fleabay, and I like it better than the expensive one on my ar10. I just bought the latch, they aren't hard to change.
  22. Good to see its sorted, I have been watching your progress. I shot about 160 rounds of the ZQI last week, i was happy with it!
  23. The cartridge case is a seal to keep the gasses headed down the barrel behind the bullet, and not out the breach. Brass makes a better gasket than steel, but steel works for fewer loadings, then it starts to work harden and becomes a less efficient seal. And it's harder on reloading dies. AND berdan primers come in goofy sizes, and are harder to find on this side of the pond. If I wasn't such an avid reloader I'd probably only shoot steel.
  24. It looks like he's all sold out, I'm not able to find them on his site now.
  25. They may have been intended for use in a maxim, I have checked and double checked, and even ran sone through a sizing die. Bullet oal is 1.263" Edit: I found some old stock of Nosler, and Hornady hunting 180's and they were 1.270" and 1.265". I think I can seat them deeper without too much trouble. I'm measuring a max oal of 2.82 with the Lancer mags.
