  1. I haven't been able to get my hands on the Zenith weapons. Heading down to Rainier Arms to fondle the CZ Scorpion tomorrow. Ya know, sometimes living so close to that place is both a blessing & a curse! I am kind of leaning towards the Z5p...already already asked my FFL what price he can get it to me for...we'll see what he says.
  2. I'm leaning in a particular direction and just wanted to hear what some others may have to say. SBR may be in my future...we'll see how things develop. I'm hoping someone here may have some personal experience with one or all of these.
  3. CZ Scorpion EVO 3, Zenith Z5p or Zenith Z5RS?
  4. Thanks for the heads up. I just put that book on my wishlist on Amazon.com. That reminds me of things to get to.
  5. Yup, that pistol looks great. Like the color scheme!
  6. My mom is big into canning. It's on my "to learn list". Just haven't gotten around to making the time to learn it yet.
  7. Couldn't you just ask people to pick numbers between x & y then use a random number generator for each one. Closest gets the prize?
  8. I'm more of an Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Ministry, Metallica guy. But, I also have very eclectic taste in music so no one else genre fits all of my listening needs.
  9. Sounds like you had a great day! Glad to hear it...everyone needs more days at the range!!!
  10. I think you're right...Sorry about that...I'll get back to my regular wise ass, devious ways! Thanks for the reminder, I don't know what came over me!!!
  11. If you purchase the barrel and bcg from Rainier Arms, they will headspace the bolt and the barrel for you. I would go that route.
  12. Welcome to the forum from Washington. There is another member on here that goes by the screen name 98Z5V, he is is working on a 338 Fed AR. Lots of knowledge here on the boards. Read a bunch and don't be afraid to ask questions... Please also do a forum search for "The Rule". It'll help you in the long run.
  13. Well someone over there has to have a set of balls!!! Way to go boys....
  14. I I got the email this morning. For the 15% off, on pencil barrels only, use the code: Hotterheatofsummer
  15. Oh StainTrain...did you see that Faxon has pencil barrels for 15% off now??? Just saying...LMAO...sorry buddy, just trying to help a guy out ya know!
  16. Ya know, one of these shoots I'm going to have to take a road trip and see what all the fuss is about. Just not when it's still as hot as the surface of the sun during day light hours. I've got a couple bottles of Johnny Walker Blue for special occasions...just sayin.
  17. I too am 100% mobile use for this forum. I miss the ability to jump from section to section by hitting the links either at the top or bottom of the page instead of having to scroll back up to the top and then click the link to the same section and then click again to get to the other section options. I also miss the option of marking multiple sections as "read" with one click. Yes it's true, there are some threads the lose my interest after a while.
  18. At that point we were over Lake Huron near Drummond Island. I've jumped more than a couple times but still lack the balls to jump without a chute I guess <dontknow>
  19. Forgot to add that while we were up there the radio chatter had a group announcing their intent to release jumpers. My head immediately whipped to the left and the pilot laughed and said " no we don't have any chutes on board".
  20. I was flying a Cessna 206 last month over the Great Lakes. No, I don't have my pilots license. The pilot just let me take over for a bit. I can tell you this...I really want my pilots license now!!!
  21. With the cost of fully finished aluminum lowers being what they are presently I just can't justify buying a polymer one. I get that these are 80% types so no registration, but even then I think I would go with the aluminum 80%ers.
  22. Right on. I'm all about supporting a guy that has been so responsive to us as a group.
  23. Just giving this thread a bump since I could use a couple more 308 BCGs and that URX wrench I saw on the website. Any progress on a group buy or discount code?
