So, like the title says, Magpul is discontinuing the Foliage Green color from their product line. Because of this all Foliage Green items are presently 30% off at the www.magpul.com store website. Get it on sale while you can. I just bought a full kit: stock, grip, handgaurd, rear BUIS, and vertical grip. Not sure how long things will remain in stock. Gen 2 pmags are already out of stock in that color.

I hear ya brother. I know it's not a Criterion or Faxon barrel but I know a couple people that have purchased Ares Armor uppers & they shoot well. I am thinking that they are clearing out inventory, to what end I am not sure. Like I said previously, for $108 delivered, I'll give it whirl and report to everyone here the results.

I agree, the groups looked plenty good for minute of pig. I also believe that when you get everything set up the groups should shrink.

I think Sketch was talking about the green "box looking thing" located in the lower left corner of the pic...and yes, that's the cleaning kit...and yes a flask would fit there nicely if you were so inclined.

Lol nope... so I just checked the status and it shows having arrived at Federal Way USPS facility tonight. Man, don't ask me what the hell this was all about but it should be delivered tomorrow. And yes, the tracking still shows that it was tendered to a military agent in San Diego at 7:37 this morning & arrived at Federal Way at 19:57 tonight. And nope, not in trouble with any agencies either!

EXACTLY, I had an APO AE address when stationed in Germany and of course others when deployed. I'll keep an eye on its progress but if that bad boy gets delivered they are going to have to ship me another barrel on their dime.

Ok, so I'm tracking this package and it shows that it has been "tendered to military agent". So, I called Aeres Armor to see what the heck that's all about. I live in Washington & last track was in San Diego to a military agent. They tell me they aren't sure but they are sure the right shipping label is on the package. Told me to wait and see what happens & that it might be being shipped by the military to Washington. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

Yup, came with the whole kit. Carry case, three 30 round magazines, cleaning kit, single point sling (meh), pic rail with screws to mount an optic on top if I so desire, manual, and a "birth certificate".

Well fellas, my new pistol arrived. I know it's a stock picture but only have cell phone with me right now. Haven't taken her out to the range but that should happen some time this week I hope. I plan on SBRing it. Little less than desirable interaction with the store that I got it from but I got it finally.

JT, if it were me I would send them the upper. I know it would be cool to figure this out yourself but look at it this way. If they screw it they have to fix it on their dime. If you screw it up you eat the cost. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for almost any excuse to buy new tools but in this case I'd let them diagnose the issue & then have em tell ya what was wrong so if something similar ever happens you can then move forward with rectifying it. Either way, I am sure we would all like the know the path you choose and the results.

Well, Google maps tell me that it's 21.5 hour drive from Washington. Generally speaking from Seattle area to the Phoenix area.
