They aren't light, but I would say more balanced than bolt actions. just builds muscle 😉

It's like drinking sweet water from the tree basically. tastes pretty good, but there is still the chance of having some bacteria in it, especially if it sits because of the sugar content. but to get the maple syrup you have to boil it down. anywhere from 40-50 gallons of sap will make 1 gallon of syrup. Its a lot of work. I did have a little bit pool on the top of one of my lids and the water from the sap evaporated in the sun, leaving a thick sap in a similar consistency you often find on the outside of pine trees. definitely the chance of bacteria in that, but I still had to try it. It tasted really good, more like honey than syrup from a store I would say. Those crawfish look amazing!

Already showed shepp but I won't leave the rest of you out. 😉 Bone-in venison shanks browned in a pan with a nice smokey rub before slow cooking at 250 degrees for 3.5 hours. It's maple syrup season. 🙂 First time tapping my trees.

6 and 15/16... pretty sure it is an Aero kit. unforgiven gave it to me when I first started my build. recently he told me to give it to the kids to see if they would play with the useless parts. lol. I have hopes that someday they will be used for something though.

It will be a think of beauty once it is completed. 😉 Kinda wishing I would have gone with a 12" handguard and a 14" barrel, and just pinned the brake to the barrel. 😛

Crazy how different these are even though they are both made for a 308ar. Top is Armalite's 6 position carbine receiver extension kit and bottom is Aero Precision's. Who knows, maybe someone can use the parts from the Aero kit for a Frankenstein build someday

So I just got my swivels for my sling. Ignore the fact that I am missing the barrel, it is on its way. lol. I love the sling, and doesn't look half bad with all my FDE parts I have here and there. Definitely every bit of quality that I got out of my custom Beachin Tactical sling. Great work Jacob and thank you so much!

I used these with good results. but I also noticed that rounds previously chambered but not shot, often had damage to the tips, unlike many smaller ballistic tips I have used.

So my last swivels and swivel mount I purchased from midwayus have worked great but the finish on them did not stay black. For my current build I decided to try some other brand. I would love some FDE swivels and mount. I located some FDE swivels from Grovtec but after scouring the internet I did not locate a FDE mount. Anyone use or know where to find FDE swivels and mount? Also, what's your favorite ones (any color)?
