  1. I'll help you shoot up some of those rounds Sisco ;)
  2. So what do you guys usually do to break in a new weapon? I honestly have never had a process, so curious to see how you guys do it.

    Grilling

oh ok. sounds good. I'll try that next time

    Grilling

I've never even heard that before. now I feel like such a grilling noob. lol. what does it mean?

    Grilling

I have a grilling fork that can do that... but only use it for chicken and pork. guess I should try it on beef. Still even with mine being a little more done than I like, I have gotten very good at keeping even a well done steak nice and juicy.
  6. Doc, I was thinking just about the same thing. haha

Tonight was also a steak night for me... wolfed it down before I could get a picture of it. lol. not real good at getting them medium or medium rare anymore since my wife likes them well done to burnt. lol. hard to get mine cooked half as much as hers and still be ready at the same time.
  8. There are a few guys around me that do a great job painting. First things first though is getting an optic.
  9. So sad. there should be the death penalty in every state for cop killers. May he be blessed with a special place in heaven.
  10. what are you planning on hunting? at what range? in what conditions (think woods, open fields, etc)?
  11. Thanks Sisco, gonna need some ammo for the break in... plus some for shooting with you guys. ;) I don't think I can handle another forum. would be like cheating on you guys... or being a polygamist. and I don't think I could handle more than one. Thanks for looking out for me, but that was actually the gun shop's address. lol. still I had to double check to make sure I didn't do that. cropped out all my info besides my name... and my name is super common. lol.
  12. Whenever he used to come back me up, he would always show up and say, "Soooo... what we got?" with kinda a goofy tone. He got excited about everything he did and was passionate. He worked really hard and actually hoped to be Superintendent. I don't care much for promoting, but he wanted to lead and improve our agency from the top.
  13. If you guys would like, I wouldn't mind if this thread turned into a memorial for any you guys may know that paid the ultimate price serving this country. Maybe even stories of them, if those sharing wish.
  14. Today marks the first anniversary of the death of one of the most dedicated men I have ever met. Dedicated to serving his country, his state; and dedicated to making a difference and leaving a mark on this world where peace and safety could be within all the chaos, even just for a second in a single person's life. He is a hero. A hero that didn't just save lives my his actions that could have or could not have made a difference in the moments following. But saved lives by giving moments to people when their time should have been otherwise expired. He was quiet and awkward, but his choices spoke louder than words and comforted those in times of distress. He was someone I only knew and worked with for a year. But he was a person any officer, medic, or soldier would strive to be so as to be their best. Rest is peace my friend and brother, you are thought of daily and will never die in our hearts. http://www.schanhoferfh.com/notices/Anthony-Borostowski
  15. Always sucks when you lose family, 2 or 4 legged.
  16. Thanks for the info guys. I also talked with an LT from the county I usually work in and he said they bought a bunch of uppers from radical firearms and was pleased with them. Today my wife gave me the go ahead to purchase one. I'm gonna see if I can get my local gun shop to get me one for the same price so I don't have to spend more paying the fees. But thinking about going with the .300 Blk
  17. yeah, kinda reminded me of a tuning fork for instruments. haha. you're welcome, was the most fun I ever had.
  18. or .243 or 7mm-08 ;) yeah harder to find 260 on the shelf if you are into buying from the shelf, but I don't have a get the chance to go anywhere besides work or the grocery store these days. so I buy my ammo online, even if it is 308 or 30-06. lot better choices and can find better deals. never gonna not find 260 on the interweb.
  19. Used a 3 prong in Afghanistan... made a weird ping noise. I liked how it was different. haha
  20. great round, can even take elk with it I hear.
  21. I know of a place you can dump them. I'll take care of those stupid builds for you. :P
  22. Lol. I'll keep that in mind when I get one within the next year... honestly I am just gonna be happy with the cup holders though. haha
  23. Maybe it is the veteran in me, but I like the new one.
  24. Vic or not, like I said, I had my old one going 140 for 20 miles in a pursuit. The handling was actually pretty good as long as you could account for the rear wheel drive. and the thing was a tank. I'll never talk bad about them. the only thing my Taurus has it beat on is hugging the road at high speeds. Our explorers on the other hand seem to float once they get to 110 or more.
  25. cool but the best work around is moving out a state that restricts your constitutional rights. ;)
