  1. It's sitting at 18.4lbs but only 8.35Kg which makes it sound lighter the bipod will add another 110z once added
  2. Hopefully you'll come and shoot it this fall...
  3. I do have a WK180( Canadian rifle based on AR180 design) that could use a makeover
  4. I happen to like the green/grey combo I picked out for her.
  5. Guess what was waiting for me when I got home from work... just a teaser picture , I'll get get better along with some close up pictures
  6. No experiance with that annealer. but for another idea and some reading
  7. Well if you're looking for a class might I suggest looking at Rob Furlong's in Edmonton 12-13hrs north of you, especially with how strong the USD is compared to CAD. From March 2002 until November 2009, Rob held the world record for the longest confirmed sniper kill in combat, at 2,430 m (2,657 yd)
  8. Been hosing off some of the stuff on the back lawn, I wonder if I'll get some of the orange or yellow desert plants sprounting this summer.
  9. Currently no at the moment, the only one that might be an issue depending on the specifics is my Kodiak( Canadian built AR-180 style rifle). Now if my ARs get realeased from house arrest and they can't enter Wa. I'll have to enter through the free state of Idaho for the shoots.
  10. Be glad the founding father's had the foresight to add the 2nd amendment. Be wary when the government says they have no interest in taking away your guns but to go ahead and register them.
  11. Saved to read after I get caught up cleaning the Arizona sand out of my stuff.

  15. Thanks for finding that story, it's important to bring these stories to light.
  16. Hoping you have gone through the worst of it. Sad to hear about the goat.
  17. Sure go ahead and make the rest of us look lazy...
  18. Similar here, can even get discounts on bulk( 10lbs) powder purchases. Pistol and small rifle primers are harder to find than an honest politician
  19. Glad to hear the issue has been solved.
  20. Got to say at work "look our weather is just like California"
  21. Was it the width of the 'lug' you measured as that 0.206"/5.234mm, the centre to centre distance is measureed from centre of gap to centre of gap and is 0.394"/10.01mm Those are for picatinny rails. The centre to centre distance of the gap is the critical dimension. Out of curiosity do you have another rifle or friend with rifle that you can try the one piece mount onto? also try a known one piece onto the rifle. Hopefully it's the mount that is out of spec as that's an easier fix
  22. The white wire is not the ground in houses, green or bare copper is. The white is the neutral( return path aka the identified conductor). In DC voltage the black is usually the ground but in AC voltage the black is hot. Also only the white conductor is the identified conductor even if you put lables on all the other colour wires Once you get your head wrapped around that and that branch circuits can be more colours that a LGBQTLDT???? poster as long as the colour white or green( in AC) is nota hot life is good. In the fall after a few drinks @DNP and I will teach you about ground wire vs bonding wire and why even electricians( sadely) get it wrong
  23. Something is off it's either the 1pc mount of the rail. Break out the calipers and measure the width of the lugs on the one piece mount along with the centre to centre distance. The key difference lies in the placement of the recoil grooves and with width of the grooves. MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) grooves are .206″ wide and have a center-to-center width of .394”. The placement of these grooves has to be consistent in order for it to be a true ‘Picatinny’MIL-STD system. Weaver systems have a .180” width of recoil groove and are not necessarily consistent in a center-to-center measurement from one groove to the next.
