  4. Air bending is so last year... bending electrons is what all the cool kids are doing now On a side note my primary 'tool bag' is a bucket with a lid 'cause it wet underground.
  5. I keep a bucket of random wrenches, screwdrivers, allen keys etc soley for the purpose of grinding, bending, modifying for a dedicated purpose
  6. A harmless man is not a good man. A good man is a very, very dangerous man who has that under voluntary control. Dr. Jordan Peterson

  9. The part about his class ring fused to the bulkhead made me pause.
  10. Welcome from BC
  11. At this point I don't think much will happen till the begining of the new year other than parts being gathered. Now to figure out the glass and have it tready for spring shoot
  12. Another group that didn't get a lot of glory were the Lysander pilots flying into occupied territories in slow moving planes to drop of agents and supplies https://haynes.com/en-gb/tips-tutorials/clandestine-wartime-missions-westland-lysander#:~:text=The 'special duty' Lysander pilots, purely on spotting these lights.

  17. So off later this morning to pick up dies, bullets and loaded ammo( easiest way to get brass) in 6.5 PRC. Next challange is figure out what scope to mount and start saving
  18. It really does Above 140 gr bullets the following are availble,Berger has 144,153.5 target bullets and Hornady 147, 153. The barrel is finished at 26" and the brake added to that. I'm looking forward to us shooting it off your deck. Me too brother, still waiting on an exact time line for delivery, between Christmas holidays and supply issues???
  19. So after lots of reading and conversations with @Magwa decisions have been made. While I was hoping for 7mm PRC the newness along with no support up here till well into 2023 it will have to wait. A number of calibers were eliminated from the start due to lack of support, more to do with ongoing shortages but still not looking to buy a aperweight. The winner was the 6.5 PRC, ammo ,dies and bullets are readily availble at two local stores. So the rough details... The stock/chassis is a MDT ACC Chassis which is locally made. The action is made by Curtis for EM Percision(Canadian builder of LR and ELR rifles) and basically a Rem 700 footprint The barrel is made by International Barrel(IBI) locally made. 26" finished length with an IBI 4 gill muzzel break. 1-7.5T, discussion with builder and Berger Bullets, once you start pushing 140gr and higher the 1-8 works but as a minimum and the 150gr and higher likes the 1-7.5 The trigger is a Trigger Tech Primary Curved PVD
  20. There fixed it
  21. It's almost like these idiot's argumentis that violence didn't exsist till 'assault weapons' were invented. When a cop shoots someone the Democrates blame the shooter yet when a nut job shoots someone they blame the gun
  22. A man, his dog and a rifle... the begining of a great story
  23. Welcome from BC I miss the FN( Canadian version was FNC1A1) which was made prohibited. There is a strong South African ex pat community up here, I do enjoy biltong
