  1. Having trouble picturing you as a blonde...
  2. Welcome from BC
  3. At least with the cement truck you don't need to find an outlet.
  4. Did you just assume it's gender?
  5. Worked pretty good till my night vision was just a bunch of floating bright lights in a field of black
  6. Cash isn't the only form of barter...
  7. Unless you have most of the bits n pieces laying around you're better off buying as you'll be up and running quicker and cheaper. I have come across people claiming that they do not use any pins at all. Heck there was one guy talking about how he made his pins by cutting up #12AWG stranded copper wire.
  8. I run pretty similar dpete, On the really dirty stuff I'll run an hour, pour out dirty water, quick rinse then run again for an hour. The ratios(soap, citric acid) will depend on volume of water and where I'm at the water is very soft. As long as you're in the ballpark the brass will come clean. I do notice the primer pockets come out nice and clean. I've added a before and after pic of range pick up brass
  9. Same here but unlike the previous posters I didn't judge you Lane( ok maybe a little)
  10. I did benefit from the exchange rate on a couple occasions but most times bites me in the ass Tell me about it I was doing a road trip south into US(Idaho then onto Arizona) and the gas prices would really have been nice.
  11. No plans just built it up around the two coolers. I can send you some pics w/tape measure( I'll even use the one marked in inches for you). My cost was about CAN$100, a lot of it including the motor was in my parts bin. Having access to unistrut made the assemble easy. It's basically a frame to hold the bearing blocks then everything built onto that.
  12. Only ever don S/S pins after seeing vibe friends were using. One big consideration was not toxic dust as it is trapped in the water. Homebuilt unit Holds two 1 Gallon coolers so one large batch or two seperate calibers at the same time.Food dehydrator for drying.
  13. Thanks Doc, Here I was going to use it to see if Sideboob Saturday or Wednesday Girls and Guns was causing a problem but now I know it will add to the problem
  14. @Armed Eye Doc
  15. Good time for you with exchange not so much for me. Have put a couple things on pause till it picks up again. The Beaver Buck is likely to go a bit lower as oil continues to drop . Took a bit of getting used to buying a burger and beer with a small of change
  16. If only that would do the trick...they'll likely use them a party balloons
  17. Welcome from across the border.
  18. Large frame ARs are a whole different can of worms both in parts compatibility and Canadian firearms law. Some AR-10s are restricted by name/model which in turn are not 308ARs again some are restricted by name others not. Now some parts can be interchanged between different manufactures/models. Do not trust the average dealer/gunshop to provide you with the correct info. Do not trust the average dealer/gunshop to provide you with the correct info. Confirm parts prior to purchase with this bunch here! Being here will sadden you when you compare our availability to parts/prices our American brethren have. Up here building 308ARs is a labour of love and not done for cost savings. So what caliber will this Stag 10 be?
  19. Until I came here I'd never heard of canned chicken.
  20. That ammo buying frenzy has spilled over north of the border. Between the US buying frenzy and the Beaver Buck dropping against the US$ any future ammo if available is going up in price.A lot of gun shops here are only doing online( doors closed to walk in) and some are posting 10-12 days before order is shipped due to volume of orders.
  21. I had a '83 Cherokee Chief WT(early 2000 pic) and an '87 Wagoneer(no pics)
  22. Hey the theory is sound...
  23. Trick is to stand inside the barn with the doors shut, that's what helped improve my average.
