@Scott76Just curious, did you try cranking the gas block closed until the bolt wouldn't lock back? I think I saw in your original post that the BCG always locked back. It's possible some of the blow by type AGB's will not vent enough gas to make much of a difference in 308's. I have one on a midlength and that seems to be the case. EDIT Bleed-off, Superlative Arms is the one I'm referring to.

If it is the Billet Aluminum one I use the Radian Talon Ambi's on identical ones no problem. BUT, the Radians are a generous fit on the forged AR15 lowers. PS Welcome to the forum!

OK, without the rear takedown pin installed, does everything look correct? Gaps all line up? close up all the way? If no, maybe takedown pocket not deep enough. If yes, I've seen slotted rear takedown holes, no big deal. Takedown is the "Give" when aligning the 3 points of 80% frames, front pivot and extension tube the other two.
