I was looking at the KAK flash can.Is the Noveske worth the price jump? Just thought the pigtail was a cool idea, seemed like I heard they use to run them on 10" commandos or something like that.

OK, All I have a 7-1/2" 5.56 barrel in the mail and an 80% lower jigged up in the 5D. Eventually like to put a Deadfoot 2.5 adjustable brace system on it or maybe a LAW folder, but just starting with the Tailhook Mod 2 and standard recoil. Couple things I would like some input on, Gas port and tube. I can get a pigtail tube or regular, what has worked on other 7-1/2" builds? What port size for a .75 journal? planning on a AGB and a birdcage.

Drinking, barbecuing, working on a build, waiting for the UPS guy to bring more gun parts for said build, drinking, a little reloading, posting on a couple of forums, drinking, no symptoms of the fever, still got a job, life is good.

I really like starting closed. When you get past about half way to working the brass comes out almost all the way and then slams back in to the chamber with quite a bit of force. Gotta love trying to pull the charging handle back on re-chambered fired brass.

Got an idea that may reduce/ shorten the waterboarding procedure. Pins and small punches and picks and oil are the non aggressive method of choice. If that doesn't work, offset the bolt in a 4 jaw so it is spinning on the ejector axis and start drilling and reaming. OffCenterTurningCenter.mp4

@aadavis94 If you like send me the old bolt I'll get the ejector out for you, no cost. Kind of stuff I like to do, as long as there is no rush (And I haven't died...).

So curious, I was aware in Cali you need a serialized lower and "Non-feature" furniture, then what? Register it? What is the procedure? Thanks
