  1. Welcome from Ky
  2. Does she think your tractor is sexy?? Heal up I had a bad bike wreck spring of 2003. Still riding but not around big towns and traffic except for rolling thunder in D.C.
  3. Nice. If you do switch to 308 someone around here will need a creadmore barrel.
  4. Hope this works. I have old 1st gen night vision that the case is tacky.
  5. You're right that one doesn't have the dot. Place in Florida has 7 of them @$298.
  6. Found the mount on eBay for 41.00 The scope will have to wait till next week. Optics Planet has it for 289.00
  7. Sighted in w/Hornady Black 123's. 195 yds 3 shot group. Mil spec trigger and old Bushnell sportview. Shooting bag for a rest over the hood of my jeep. LaRue MBT-2 on the way. Not sure what glass I will end up with. This is what I will deer hunt with this fall.
  8. There are creadmore bolts with smaller diameter firing pins w/a corsponding smaller hole in the bolt face. That will likely solve your problem. PSA really doesnt have this larger platform quite right yet.
  9. Welcome from Ky
  10. An actual Armalite carbine gas tube will be the proper length. When I changed over to a colapasable stock I bought the Armalite buffer tube ,spring, and buffer from them. PSA still doesn't use the right weight buffer and spring.
  11. First off is it an A2 rifle stock or collapsible stock. Did you have the bolt carrier almost dripping with lube? How far does the gas tube go into the upper? Does it go to the middle of the cam pin cutout or is it short of the middle of the cam pin cutout? PSA will fix it eventually but you can have it running right quicker with a few parts. Mine needed a longer gas tube. Pic of where the gas tube should end.
  12. If I remember right. The 44 automag used 308 cases cut down.
  13. Welcome from Ky.
  14. Your welcome. Got my guns mixed up though. My 12 1/2" 308 pistol shoots MOA at 95 yds. It is good to go. It is my 12" 6.5 grendel I only shot at 25 yds. Too many toys to keep straight.
  15. I understand what you are saying. It is possible. Just think of the manpower involved to chase down all those 80% receivers. How about all those bumpstocks ordered over the internet and sold in the brick and mortar stores. Not sure they would ever have the manpower to do a good job. Then there is all the boating accidents.
  16. I have a 18" on the PA10 because they didn't offer a 16". I just built a 12" 308 pistol. If it shoots as well at distance as it does at 25yds the 18" rifle will set in the safe a lot of the time.
  17. Used the dimple under the gas port from first gas block. So port in gas block was the same position as first block. I may be wrong about this.
  18. The Hornady Black 123eld's probably.
  19. Picked up a 12 inch PSA 6.5 Grendel barrel. Matrix blem upper and 13 in rail PSA bolt and carrier. Still need dust cover and forward assist (or a plug) 3 1/2" flash can. Used my 300 Blackout pistol lower. I am waiting on the lower parts kit to show up for the lower for this pistol. Only shot it at 25 yards with Wolf and Hornady American Gunner. Ran fine with both kinds of ammo. Cutting bullets together at 25 yds with both kinds of ammo.
  20. A muzzle break would help. What does your buffer weigh?
  21. Think I found the gas tube length difference. First gas block I had was dead center of cam pin cutout. Adjustable gas block is shorter than first 1. Now gas tube is past the middle of cam pin cutout. Not by much but maybe an 1/8. I'll post pics this weekend I'm at work now.
  22. If you have a mill the jig will work fine.
