This is the one at Costco, it was five bills when you pick it up at the warehouse. I was the same way, all my buddies were putting out this great stuff, I wanted to try. The pellet grills are all the rage, but this requires no electricity, and I'll tell you once you establish a temperature it holds rock steady for hours. That brisket went 11 hours. Came out amazing btw.

Almost time to wrap it

A few months back I went to Costco and picked up a Louisiana Grills (same manufacturer as the Pit Boss line) komodo style smoker. It's been doing pretty well, I've been getting used to it, relatively easy to set and maintain a steady smoke temp. First attempt was baby back ribs, burnt them on the edges but I know now what I did wrong. Since then I've done a few whole chickens, turkey legs, Boston butt pork - all pretty damned good turnouts. This morning I brought it up to temp and laid a beef brisket on it. Hope it comes out good. Anyone else using this style smoker?

I've got several units still in the box they came in.

Man, so I had to go back and dig this old thread up. I just today shot this rifle and can for the very first time. Do you guys do that too? Buy something then stick it in the safe and take forever to get back to it? Geez...……. Anyway, super quiet can, great shooting rifle, real nice combo. This should be a good pig harvesting setup.

I'm working on a new build and am hung up on assembly. When I get the mainspring housing pinned and cock the action, I drop in the thumb safety. After that, I can’t get the hammer to return, the trigger is completely locked out. If I just take the thumb safety out and let the grip safety hang loose, the trigger will action the hammer. I’ve tried several different mainsprings and several different grip safeties, to no avail. Can anyone help me with what’s catching on what? Thanks all, appreciate any input.

Tom, I'm with you, FFDP is my go-to band, has been for the past few years.

The safe with AR's have them all leaning a different way, alternating - the stocks keep me from stacking one in every slot. In the hunting rifle safe, they're stacked three deep, leaning on each other - I minimize contact with each other using gun socks, etc. Dang, I need another safe.

shepp - it was just west of SLC in Tooele, at the Ford Performance Racing School complex, although most of the day was well off campus out in the dirt and mountains sketch - the lie-o-meter tells me 16 all day in town, when I drove to STL last Christmas I got 19 on the open road. I do go off-road, for sure, this is my hunting rig, it performs very well. We've had a ton of rain for a while now and this spring has been a mud fest up there, she's gotten her feet very dirty. Towing, if it's relatively regular duty, will do just fine. But if I were towing big loads frequently, I'd have a 3/4 ton of some flavor.

This is my third truck with the 3.5L eco-boost. Believe me, I'm a fan of V8's, but after driving this little powerhouse around for 7 years, I'm not sure I'd go back. There are rumors that they'll swap in the flat 5.2L V8 in the Raptor just before they do a new body in a few years, but I doubt I would swap just for that.

That's an interesting one. Lemme know if it pokes its ugly head out again.

I've forgotten so much about MicroStation, but I'll help if I can. I used it heavily for years, and used to develop in it in UCM and MDL. Now I've been in the ESRI world for 20 years, but I've got some guys at work that use MicroStation every day that I can lean on too.
