I have an FNP-9 and FNP-45, but not the tactical model. I've often thought about selling the FNP-45 off for the tactical model, just haven't done it yet. My FFL buddy brought one of the tacticals out on one of our shooting sessions, it ran just as well as mine.

Where are you located?

I have a SWR Spectre suppressor. This can is rated for .17, .22lr and 5.7x28mm. So far I've shot it on my FN Five-seveN and Walther P-22 pistols, and on my Sig 522 rifle. This is a great piece, it comes with a break-down tool and (optional) baffle push tool to tear it down and clean it. I used these last weekend shooting rimfire - worked very nicely and they were very comfortable in the ears. I can easily see using these as a secondary under my Caldwell electronic earmuffs when I'm shooting pistol or high power rifles. <thumbsup> <thumbsup>

I have the QSM Titanium .223 can. When I was first researching these I heard a lot of talk (internet) that the Titanium cans heat up real quick during semi-auto rapid fire and get super hot during full-auto fire. I (sadly) will probably not ever own a full-auto rifle so nthis didn't worry me too much. Once I started shooting with it I realized that it does actually warm up kind of quick but it cools down just as quickly so it's a push as far as I'm concerned. The decibel reduction on this unit is great and I really got hooked on shooting suppressed with this piece. AAC has an excellent track record for quality. Personally I would go with the Osprey, for price and functionality (no sight intrusion).

Good to know, although I've had my Winchester shotty for a few years and haven't shot it yet. <dontknow> I may never shoot either of them... :-[
