  1. Falkor? The luck dragon? ? ?
  2. I recently watched a video for deciding on whether to get a 300Blk or a 7.62x39 build. They broke it into three questions: 1. Do you shoot suppressed? 2. Do you reload? 3. Is parts interchangablity important to you? Depending on how you answer those, determines which would serve you best. If the yes's are greater than the no's then the 300Blk is your cartridge. All my answers were no...
  3. Holy fucknuts. You guys raised the old man from the dead.
  4. PM's are down. Email me at rob@308ar.com or robocop1051@yahoo.com
  5. Just to make sure you understand... this is JUST the sight assembly, and not the carry handle. You'll still need a stripped A2 upper or stripped carry handle to use the sight assembly. The door broke off at the hinge. It will still clip into place, but when you try to open it the door will just fall off again. I assume it could be glued back together.
  6. LAPD has been using the 6.8 for years.
  7. The Colt A2 is 100% with bearings. The hinge on the door broke (50 year old plastic)... you can see the break in the pic.
  8. Just as I'm opening it up to show you... I broke the door. Gawdamit!
  9. Why? Heavier than 5.56 and not as effective as the 7.62. It's the .40cal of the rifle world. DoD did their contest to see if the M4 needed to be replaced. The 6.8 failed to do anything more than the 5.56 could do. Does it kill something MORE dead? I'm not disputing that the 6.8 is superior to the 5.56... every round has its "place".
  10. http://www.sgammo.com/product/remington/200-round-case-300-aac-blackout-remington-umc-220-grain-ot-fb-ammo-l300aac4 $159.50 per 200 Not bad for some of you sub sonic guys
  11. The target is a steel plate.... sparks in our area = bad
  12. All packages shipped today.
  13. And and bunch of rules.... Out at our range we have the freedom of practicing our freedom. I'm down to go shooting. The only day I can't is July 13th. I think the 11th, 12th, 18th or 19th will work best for Bubba and Farkle.
  14. Don't forget about the huge LWRCi contract to build 6.8SPC rifles for the UAE.
  15. I already ran all of you through NCIS and OPM-FIS.
  16. These triggers need to go to a good home.
  17. To shoot?
  18. It is... for now. There is a second one starting VERY soon. It'll start and end this month. MechArmor wants us shooting by the 4th of July.
  19. Lol. I grabbed my Troy DOA (fde) off the EE on bARFcom for $75. Not as good of a deal that you got, but still not bad for a Troy.
  20. I forgot about GG&G... Still wicked expensive for just a rear sight. I have a Troy DOA on my CASV.
  21. I will put one on my CASV upper to see if it fits... it will be a HUGE selling feature if it does. Right now the only options for CASV owners are the TROY, MI or ARMS, all of which are $100-$200 just for a rear sight.
  22. Get a plate that doubles at a sling attachment. That'll make it more worth having.
  23. Agreed. I have two.
  24. The KZ1000 is a great bike. I rode one once, when I first started motors (just to see what it was like). All police bikes are beat to shit. We ride clutch half in/out, we constantly drop them, we are always going into red rpm's. The only bonus is that you know it's getting a regular service. Another bad thing about police motorcycles. Until Honda jumped into the game, all the bikes were made in three different shops. First the dealer built the bike... then they send it to amother shop to put in the emergency lights... then they send it to another shop to put in three radio equipment.... God save you if you're having any additional equipment (RADAR?) put in.... this gives about 12 miles of wiring inside the bike, that no one can ever decipher, and everyone blames any electrical problem on the "other guys". Honda and BMW now make complete bikes in shop (BMW still outsources the radio).
