Nate.... just out of curiosity... how many barrels do you guys make in a lot? Meaning, if someone wanted a special length/contour/caliber, how many would they have to order to make that happen?

Not horribly priced either. It vaguely reminds me of the Cason Eng version, except Cason is made out of Ti.

Get yourself some .308 "Accelerator" rounds. Hit them with a 70+ grain pill at over 4k fps! You'll have to single load them, but it'd be awesome fun to pink mist a yote!

Where are these "bad reviews"? I own a metric shiit ton of PMAGs in every size and caliber... I even have custom 5 round mags. Never a single issue with any of them. I find it hard to accept a blanket statement about the .308 PMAG from an unknown source, especially when it's made ON A FORUM THAT SPECIALIZES ON THE .308AR and no one shares the opinion. In fact, only one person here has ever made statement about the 308 pmag not working, and he knows what four letter word I blame for that. Just sayin

It's quite a bit of AR10 heritage. It should be an original top charging AR10. Definitely a collectors item.

The proof should also be on the barrel... near the barrel nut.

Well, a little google-fu shows that it was likely a British AR10, that was sent to Portugal and then returned to GB. After the firearms returned to GB, they were stamped "Tormented" to show they had rigorously been tested. After the proofing the AR10's were shipped to North American, where gun laws allowed private ownership.

Any additional info on the rifle? Was it a home build, or an off the shelf buy?

Streamlight recently came out with a bunch of USB rechargeable lights. I've been looking into them recently.

You won't need a full upper. Just a receiver. It shouldn't be too costly.

QPQ is the new stainless... but black. NiB is the new chrome... but not as shiney. One is a "treatment" and the other is a "coating". I personally think NiB is a bit more effective, but it all comes down to the company doing the work. A good QPQ will outlast a bad NiB, and vise versa. Both are frictionless and reduce corrosion. Both are better than the previous generation of options. Both are better than nothing.

Share with us later on how many rounds fit in the hybrid magazine. Rumor is 35!

Want to see something cool? Take the spring and follower out of the 28 round mag, and put them in the in the 30 round mag body. Now count how many rounds your magazine will hold.
