  1. Warning point being issued... why would anyone sell a CNC nowdays?
  2. They have buffers... but no gas tube system. They are a blow back instead of DI or piston
  3. I just worry that those full size caliber uppers will wreck havoc on a printed lower. I know the poly lowers had a hard enough time as it was.
  4. Easy. Most of those are usually made into .22lr builds using the Ceiner (or dare I say, CMMG) conversion kit. I HIGHLY recommend the Taccom3G conversion. It's all NiB coated and has some modifications and upgrades built into it.
  5. Just a point I'd like to clear up.... Mega makes an ambidextrous bolt RELEASE not an ambidextrous bolt CATCH. To my knowledge, only Colt, LWRCi, AXTS, SI-Defense, Aero Precision (with PDQ lever) and S.W.O.R.D. International make an ambidextrous bolt CATCH. Each company has a different version or variation, and many are only offered on certain models. I think RRA has a version too, but not 100% if it has a catch feature or just a release.
  6. Yup #36 = 0.1065 #35 = 0.1100
  7. I believe the 7/64 is right between the #36 and #35. So if you have those...
  8. The best rule is, if you only need 1... order 3!
  9. I love my GSR... just waiting for a new (lighter) stock. Almost went to a Boyd, but saw the new synthetic stocks and may go that route instead.
  10. I think I have a spare bolt. It's stripped, but you should be able to reuse the parts from your last bolt. I'll check the pile. If it's in there, I'll make it very affordable for you.
  11. If that detent pin flies out... it's gone forever. I'm just sayin. Been there. Done that.
  12. Why are you yelling? Check it out HERE
  13. They wouldn't be the cause of the under gassed rifle, but certain devices could help if the rifle were under gassed... Like a KX3/KX5. These may be an option for the additional back pressure.
  14. Modo, what muzzle device is that? Ferfrans?
  15. If I remember correctly, Farkle bought some of that stuff. It ran horribly... But my 17" still ate it up. I have yet to have any serious ammo issues, despite having a rifle length gas system on a 17" barrel.... 17" may be the magic length.
  16. 7/64" = .1094 I wouldn't be afraid of going to the larger hole
  17. @Modo I have a 17" rifle-length barrel. The gas port was opened up to .099 The port inside of your GB can be as large as .125, so opening up to near that size and then adding an adjustable GB should be perfectly safe. When you had the barrel re-contoured, did you have the area at the gas block redone as well. If memory serves me right, the DPMS SASS has a canted surface at the gas block, and requires a SASS specific gas block. You may have to have that area also redone, perhaps down to a .750, to fit a standard fitting GB.
  18. You threaten me like we haven't played this game before... I forget, was this a pants up or a pants down beating???
  19. Welcome. I'd love to see the pictures of the clearances. I have two APEX handguards, both small and large formats. I know how tight their tolerances can be.
  20. You should get a Lantac 7.62... It would look GREAT on a SBR... Have you ever thought about a .308 SBR? If you do, you should get a Noveske barrel for it. Remember that they use AR10 BCG's.
  21. I h8 you Stain.... you just cost me $150
  22. If you're considering a suppressor in the future... then the AAC Black Out is what you should be looking at.
  23. I feel a "four letter word" coming on.... Modo, what stock assembly are you using? What muzzle device?
  24. Ahem.... here... how soon we forget!
  25. SS, I love Thorogood boots, but despite my best attempts not too... every once in a while I have to run after someone... Then I don't like Thorogood anymore. I'm looking for: Lightweight Waterproof Durable Easy on/off I'm getting closer and closer to dropping the hammer on the Salomons. I think I'll run to the store this week and try on a similar set.
