  1. You might have to open up the gas hole a bit too.
  2. One would think there were more efficient ways to cut a barrel, than with a hacksaw.
  3. Roger Wang, former partner of Battle Arms Development Inc, recently wrote to us informing us about his current projects. Roger left B.A.D. Inc. back in September-2014, on good terms, to start his own company. Now he's ready to start opening up to the gun community with his new products... Which should be available this Spring! Forward Controls Design is his newest concept to bring improved small components to the AR format rifle. For Roger, LIGHTER is better. Roger has asked for us to join him on Facebook (for those that can) to receive more updates on his coming projects. www.facebook.com/forwardcontrols
  4. I put a faux gas block on my 14.5" dissipator. There was about 1.5" of barrel meat to clamp on to.
  5. It should. It's all about parts compatibility at that point. In theory, if the gas tube fits, it should work. I'm waiting for some entrepreneur to make a 13.7" with a micro gas block at the rifle length, then permanently cap it with a KX5. WarSport got a 12" 5.56 barrel to fire with a mid length gas.
  6. Have tried different browsers? Explorer? Netscape? Chrome? Safari? Is the browser you're using completely up to date? What about Web security/restrictions?
  7. I just had a C39 (American milled AK receiver) join the family... I can't leave well enough alone. After seeing the "Zhukov" parts in Vegas, I couldn't resist. I'll start a thread about it soon. Waiting on a few parts.
  8. You'd be better off going to Tony Montana's house while trying to kick your cocaine addiction.
  9. Welcome. You found the right place to get started!
  10. Yes, 8/32
  11. Because you bastards own them...
  12. http://www.extremegearlabs.com/
  13. The guy that helped design the HSP D3 has a few .308 models... I have to find his company name again.
  14. I took it off a family member. I can't stand the retro look. I want "new".
  15. You're as big of a Griffin whore as I am for BattleComp.... but it's an option I'll consider for this.
  16. No quad rails... I don't care for cheese grater handguard. I'm too sensitive. Dang it, I wasn't going to hijack this thread... but you bastards are persistent. I'm scraping the forward Troy/Ultimak rail idea and going with a TWS Dogleg rear rail instead. Ultimately, I plan on using the new Magpul Zhukov furniture. Last piece on my list is the muzzle device. Contemplating between Lantac AK "Drakon" or the PWS FSC-AK.... Dare I hold out for the AK BattleComp? ? ?
  17. Gawdammit... I have a Century C39 that is just begging for a face lift. I can't handle the old school communist look and feel. AK top rail... either the rear or front... is a must. More to come... in another thread
  18. Yup. You have a 5.56 buffer. You need a .308 buffer. I have a spare in my box. Just a standard rifle buffer. Nothing fancy.
  19. I need a troy AK top rail..... don't ask
  20. Truer words have never been spoken. Every fuckin time!
  21. The barrel nut may be different, but the receiver is still standard threads. Just rip off the old barrel nut and replace with the barrel nut of your choosing. Most new hand guards come with a barrel nut anyways. What are you thinking about going to?
  22. A must see
