Challenge yourself and use that predator call. A .410 loaded with buck makes short order of a sub-60 lbs yote within 30 yards. Great for when around/near the house. .22WMR will take the same dog out to 75 yards. If you really want to use the maten, and you want to see hairy things become DEAD things, find some of those .308 sabots and load them with the Barnes Varmint Grenade. It probably won't cycle your rifle, but the red mist will make you happy.

Now I want to see a suppressed m4, WITH a suppressed MasterKey!!!

I saw this posted on FB this morning. If you can see past the tube-type handguard, it's not too bad of an idea. I don't like that the Dolos system has no front sight. I'd really be interested in seeing the measurements on the Dolos barrel nut, and seeing if another handguard could be modified/fabricated to work with it. The new Gen3 LAW Tactical is a *MUST*

Gawdammit Adam! Sack up or GTFO! Otherwise you're likely to end up in a tequila induced coma, buck nekid, shaved bare, and left in the Arizona sun with nothing for protection but a thin layer CLP. The last thing you'll remember is Tom and I jumping out of a shadow, armed with a taser and a black pillow case. You'll forever have to explain the number 3 branded on your left butt cheek, and the 8 on your right butt cheek... 3¤8

While not req'd in some states... There are lots of things you could do to make your life easier... just in case. 1. Engrave "Pistol" 2. Engrave a personal identification number (like your SSN or DL#. Even your name would be better than "blank") Why leave it up to an argument about who's right or wrong? Especially if you don't have the authority to enforce your side of the argument... I hate no-nothing LE that would rather the courts figure it out than learn about it themselves. Keeping a copy of your state's 80% laws helps too.

Wait a minute here... do you mean to tell me this is a thread about rifle issues, and CMMG parts were used. What are the chances of that?? -
The day you're washing your car... and ninjas descend on you from roof tops... you be thinking, "damn Rob was right! I need more guns." Honestly, my reasoning is simple. I'm faster on the draw than I am on a reload. I'm also not limited to my draw options... I can draw from my hip or appendix, or even fire from my coat pocket.

for the record... we never laugh.... well, not without pointing :laughing4: <lmao> <laughs> For the record, I always thought the S&W Model 351PD or 351C in .22 magnum would be a fun pocket gun. Even the Model 43C (.22lr) would be neat for a little while.... Although, I wouldn't carry it alone.

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences. I honestly hurt for you brother, and I'll continue to pray for you and your family. The loss of a loved one can never be matched, and is surely the hardest trial of faith a family can endure. Your strength and love as a family is what kept you in this fight, and it is what will get you out of it. We, as brothers, may be stretched across thousands of miles of God's green earth... but we're here for you in any capacity we can be. As you grieve know that we are remembering you and honoring the memory of Kelly. Her struggle will not be forgotten. God does bless her, and I'm sure accepted her warmly into his waiting arms. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. Rob

If I hadn't just bought the wife her Sig P938 9mm... I'd be stalking that Boberg like a blood hound.

Angled Foregrips are okay on pistol builds... If that's your thing. A "forward mounted pistol grip" is defined as being able to wrap your thumb around the grip. The Magpul AFG (and all the similar knock-off products) is commonly used by shooters.
-
Most of the >26" builds I've seen are with 12.5" barrels... Although if you were to pin/weld a behemoth length muzzle device (such as the KX3 or KX5) you could likely get all the way down to a 10.5" barrel... depending on your receiver extension.
-
Every man needs a Derringer.... The .45LC/.410 if you're allowed!!
-
I can agree with that... If it's cycling that fast with 175gr, is it possible that he could run into issues if he dropped down to a 150gr (or lighter)??
-
The CWS is the easy/inexpensive fix... The LAW Tactical is how the "cool kids" do it.
-
The gun will be measured from the tip of the barrel (the muzzle device only counts if it's pinned/welded) to the tip of the receiver extension (the brace will not be measured).
-
He's ok if his total overall length is greater than 26". Batfe says a pistol must be under 26"... but it's not a rifle if it doesn't have rifle features (stock)... so if it's too long to be a pistol, lacks the rifle features, and obviously isn't a shotgun, then it falls under the definition of just "firearm" which is allowed a forward grip. If his OAL is -26".... He'd better erase that post.

I ditched the BUIS and put a PA 1-6x24 on it and then never really shot it for groups... I actually really never shoot it at all. It's crazy, but I like shooting my .308 a lot more. When I'm shooting my 5.56, I just bang away at steel plates. It never got a mag release (GAWDAM CALIFORNIA!!!) We only get one exemption, so I'm working on a new build for that. Might as well go crazy if I can only do it once.
