Nope. Not here. Cali yotes are rarely over 45 lbs. We don't have many wild, or free range, pack animals for the coyotes to pick off the sick and young. Once in a while they'll grab a new calf on a ranch, but they mainly live off scavenging. Ranchers out here cull the yote population on their property pretty regularly. We just don't have a healthy habitat for a pack carnivore. He's right Bubba. It's gotta happen... on video!

Was the hide worth keeping? I've never really seen a good yote hide in Cali. Most of the time they are covered in fleas and ticks, with large patches of hair missing. Damn things are closer to the rat family than the dog family. CO, MT, ID, WY and UT... Those are some nice yote hides. Especially the winter coats. There's a pretty big trade value for them too! I tried to buy a yote jacket once, but the damn thing ended up being like $3k. Same guy had a buffalo coat for $3k also... That one was so nice I was actually contemplating it.

I have 3 of the Colt frontier .22lr's. Got my first one when I was 7 or 8, got a matching set just a few years ago. Love those little buggers. That pistol is a beauty. That's got to be nearly twice as heavy as my .45 with those itty-bitty holes. I'll bet it shoots awesome. Tripledeuce is right about heavy cylinders. Action shooters run into that a lot, especially with speed draws. That why we only load one round, and it's only loaded with a primer and 2 gr of black powder, and a wax seal. No weight, and just enough pop for a good show...

Check out Precision Reflex. PRI make a bunch of different tower sights and they have always responded to my questions. Also, Armalite makes a clamp on style A2 front sight gas block.

I was lead to believe the green reticles were originally intended for the red color blind? Everyone's physiology is different. Red for one, green for another, maybe even amber for a third. Won't know till you fondle and compare.

What kind of rifle configuration do you have? Got pics? I'd like to see what kind of sights you have, and where they're mounted.
