  1. We got’em... click the happy face at the top of the text window. Pretty sure we have them all.
  2. I need a bigger gun case. This AZ trip has my gun anxiety skyrocketing.
  3. You sumbitches! Rob, welcome to our den of miscreants and misfits. You’ve already met some of our chief rabble rousers. If they were experts of bullshit, they’d all be good for nothin. I haven’t had the privilege of joining the Full30 forum yet. I’ll warn you ahead of time... this place is like no other. In about 3-4 weeks we are going to have a metric shit ton of videos. All forum related. If you’re in/around the PHX area I’d invite you to join us... you can have Sketch’s seat. The rotten bastard couldn’t get his permission slip signed in time to play with the boys again this year. Rob
  4. The x39 build... my secret passion in the AR-15. I honestly believe our hatred of the Commies, and mistrust of the AK’s, has forced us to forget about the raw power of the Red .30 cal. If I could afford to shoot (and stock up on) .300Blk I would ditch the x39 today. I appreciate its refinement, and diversity, but not it’s cost. The two things you need to pay attention to are the bolt and the magazines. Most of the flaws have been ironed out over the last 5 years. Just don’t cheap out on those two parts and we’ll help you figure everything else out as you build.
  5. Here it was .270 and .243 I’m fortunate to have a VERY extensive bolt and lever rifle collection. I will always be able to find SOMETHING I can use, assuming I have access to my collection.
  6. C-Products Defense and D&H mags are specifically designed for the x39. I have a truck ton of ASC mags that run as well, but most of them are still in their packages. I primarily run D&H mags. I would have a 5.7x28 rifle, but only if I could build one... I don’t want to just slap on an upper. I’d like to build up a DI version and run it off FN Five-Seven mags. I got a chance to shoot EyeDoc’s AR-57 and was impressed. It definitely fits the part of a high capacity yet low profile rifle system. An AR-57 short barrel upper, would be awesome on a pistol lower receiver that is chopped/designed to use AK mags. Super low profile. Maybe even get silly, and add a FAB defense folding pistol grip. That would be one hell of a truck gun. Screw putting optics on it. I would go super low profile again, and find some HK MP7 or CZ Scorpion sights. I agree with Tom. I would pack absolutely everything I had… To start. Realistically though, if you don’t have a 12ga, a 5.56 rifle and a 9mm pistol, you will not be prepared when your surplus runs out. I love all my 308, but I know that 223 ammo will be on the cost ratio of 10:1 to 308 ammo. 12 gauge, 9mm, 45acp, .223 and 762x39 are the default cartridges of the apocalypse.
  7. You’re missing an important one. In light of this failure... I demand you get to work on a 7.62x39 immediately!
  8. First appointment… This is the contest section. Second… I highly doubt it’s a magazine issue. I will call out wrong buffer assembly before I call out bad magazine.
  9. These get hard to source at times, especially since companies like Armalite fall off the map from time to time. I found these last night and I think I'm about to make a large order. They are priced fairly and look to be pretty decent in quality and design. https://www.darkhourdefense.com/collections/lower-parts/products/308-a5-buffer-tube
  10. This would be a badass in a 300Blk!!!
  11. I was on this one. I know the deceased. A good kid and well liked. It was a rough scene.
  12. Welcome to our bbq.
  13. Nice stick! as for the bipod... I don’t think there’s an official forward position. It’s all dependent on if you’re a “legs forward” or a “legs back” kind of guy. Besides that... you know you’re gonna need a new Magpul bipod when they release!!!
  14. I buy PRVI and S&B for about $2.10-$$2.50 each. If I reloaded, with Toms math, that price would drop to about $1.00-$1.40 each (assuming the brass can be reloaded at least twice.
  15. I’m lighting shit up in 37mm increments.
  16. Because you don’t want to sell a bunch of them, all over the country, only to have the ATF come back at you several months later and say the receivers were never “approved” and theyre 81% finished by their standards… Thus an unserialized firearm.
  17. It looks like this is the last rifle length I have. Someone drilled it and installed a light mount. Will this work for you? Pretty sure it’s from a Colt.
  18. @blue109 I think I have most of that list. I'll hit you up this week. I need to dive into my parts bin. Flashider... 5/8x24 or 1/2x28??
  19. 7075 T-6 Billet Aluminum Type III Hardcoat Anodize Cerakote Ceramic Coating Integrated Ambidextrous Magazine Release Integrated Ambidextrous Bolt HOLD Integrated Ambidextrous Bolt RELEASE Ambidextrous Safety Selector I have my own design, but I might outsource this to cut down on my machine time. There are a lot of good quality, affordable, options out there. Integrated Ambidextrous Anti-Rotation Q.D. mounts Replaceable Q.D. cups... NOBODY offers this ability! Flared Magwell
  20. There is a metric-shit-ton of paperwork to get an ATF letter of approval for an 80%. I honestly don't see a financial return in the amount of work that'd be required. To make up for the expense of extra time getting authorization and clearance, based on the small amount of projected sales, I'd have to significantly increase the price I was debated about this... but it would require yet ANOTHER frame size (as well as bolt and barrel extension)... Ugh!
  21. Right now I have requests for 300Blk, .223, .308 and .338LM. I plan on adding 762x39 soon. There are was one small outside push for 6.5cr, but then they saw the .338lm and the forget about their baby bullet. I would really like to make my big rifle in .300wm too. Time (and $$) will tell.
  22. We haven’t noticed tilting in any of the three size formats. From the 5.56x45 to the .338 Lapua Magnum. PWS makes a long stroke system. I was with Farkle when he bent his op rod while shooting his. The whole rifle was frozen because of it. PWS made good on it, but it still sucked none the less.
  23. Pretty decent. I can’t imagine it’s been so long since I’ve watched that movie.
  24. Damn SS! You’re spotting all my secrets! That is indeed an ambi bolt hold/release. Hardcoat anodize with cerakote.
