I have the 10 oz buffer in mine. I mated it with a flatwire spring. I get a solid 3 o’clock eject, about 18” from my port. Soft and smooth.

You need to find someone with a matching rifle. Swap uppers and fire both. You need to isolate if your issue is in the upper or the lower.

Any chance the charging handle is bent?

Not sure who knew this already, but we recently patented and certified a new ballistic armor. We have level IIIa plates on the market now, and just released our shields. the latest shield is my personal design. I call it the “616” personal ballistic shield. why call it “616” you ask??? Ephesians 6:16: "In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one." https://www.cromusa.com/armor I initially designed the shield as a rapid response shield for street cops, but there’s so much more applications than that. I bet that guy in AZ wished he’d answered the door with a shield vs a gun. Ever have to check on a “sound” your wife heard in the backyard? A lightweight shield offers a lot more protection than an old pair of boxers.

I built my father in law his 1st AR15. It was mostly Colt and Armalite NM parts. The wood furniture was from Lucid Wood. They made the absolute best stuff on the market. Back then you had the option of an A2 butt plate or a rubber pad. I got the rubber pad, but hindsight I wish I got the A2 plate. im always tempted to do another.

I’m here guys... we actually just got NIJ certified for the level IV. I think the sales are starting up. I’ll get info on that. I believe the level IV is 0.6” thick. I’ll get the exact weight.

It started life as a 16” Carbine. I didn’t touch the gas port. It was already .100” wide. I honestly never shot it. I waited for the owner to shoot it, and he never told me. I honestly forgot about this build. I’ll call him up and get some feedback
