@imschur will need to address most of this. Which link is broken ?

I’m on par with everyone else here. The 16” barrel is perfect out to 400, and 18” will get you to 500 with terminal performance (800 yards on steel) About 5 years ago I retired my old Mossberg 4x4 .308 that I’d been using since I was a teenager. 25 years with that rifle, and I had never shot an animal beyond 250 yards. When I realized this, I changed over to a Ruger GSR as my primary hunting rifle. Go with a 16” and shoot Hornady 150gr AMAX. You can harvest everything under 500 pounds with that. If you’re hunting animals bigger than that, you need a bigger bullet, not a longer barrel.

American Gun Chic and the CROM CR-7 .500 Blackout

Just wait. I’m working on a MUCH larger production -
Check out Riggs by Wrangler. They make a pair. I’m pretty sure @sketch wears them too. On the more expensive side, I wear a lot of Kühl brand (when it’s on sale... let’s not be ridiculous) and I’ve found their clothes are well made and very comfortable. I have a lot of EDC requirements for my clothes. I used to call all my shorts “daddy purse shorts” due to the cargo pockets. Now that my kids are older, and I’m not carrying gear for x3 kids, I’ve converted over to carpenter style pockets.

Fall shoot is a hard deadline. I have a LOT of work ahead of me.

Something wicked this way comes.

I can’t tell, is that the 3.3” or the 4”. I should’ve bought the 4” damnit.

For those of you in a “free state” that we’re wondering why you would want a plain old 9mm rifle????! this is all for tonight.

It should absolutely fit!!

After talking in depth to Cerakote. The hardness of Cerakote vs Hard coat anodizing places Cerakote exceptionally above. The only issue is how many coats are layered on the surface. You want at least 2 coats on small moving parts, and as many as 3 or 4 coats on the external parts. There’s a lot of places that try to save money by skimping on the paint (it’s not cheap paint). When they skimp on the coatings, it gives a bad reputation to Cerakote. The product is proven. It’s the application that requires overwatch. If the quality is important for you, make sure you are using a Cerakote certified technician.

It’s only a 16’... but it has 2 pop-outs!

I definitely not “cut and suck”. That does more damage than good. You want a tourniquet and anything that has a suction device. The tourniquet will do you more good than the suction cup. You just want to keep as much poison out of your bloodstream as possible, until an anti-venom can be administered. A tourniquet can be worn up to four hours without damage to the limb. Once applied do NOT loosen/remove the tourniquet. Only doctors do that. Releasing a tourniquet exposes your organs to all kinds of toxins, which could result in failure/shut down. Not to mention the poison may still be in the wound site

Blue Alpha hybrid belt for EDC. Otherwise I wear Mernickle leather belt when I’m “dressed up”. I will only buy a bill if I can guarantee that it will hold the gun in place. Tom... because there’s no “police cigarette lighter “

Army Getting New Sub Gun

Chances are, this is going to happen for me before anything else does... There are already two or three compatible braces for it, including the Tail Hook -

Army Getting New Sub Gun

Just watched a video about this new B&T. I’m intrigued! It looks like B&T hired some fresh blood. Their designs are way beyond where they were... which was way beyond everything else already. Its no secret, I’ve always loved the TP9. Their latest model has me in a frenzied lust. This new sub-gun had me at about a 6/10... until they announced two fresh aspects. 1. It uses Glock mags. 2. It’s coming out in .45acp this is the epitome of the HK killer! It’s a smaller, lighter, improved MP5/UMP!! That uses $25 stick mags and has a host of reliable drum mags. Sign me up for a pistol version! -
I licked the RCP, and wrote my name inside the grips... That one is mine!

It’s been relocated to the PCC section

Ps. My love for this bag will likely evolve into a more quality Maxpedition, Vertx or Vanquest bag.

Pt. 2 i bought this shoulder bag (cheap VISM/NCSTAR) at a gun show for about $20. It came with double M4 mag pouch on one side and double pistol mag pouches on the other. I ditched those right away. I wanted to try the shoulder bag (wife calls is my “tactical man-purse”) but didn’t want to waste money on something I didn’t know I’d like. I just needed a daily bag I could carry daily crap in. As you can see, it’s about 11” Long, 8” Wide and 7” Deep. This is not a wilderness survival bag or a “Bail Out Bag”. This is designed to add to my EDC as a second tier for “urban utility”. There’s no trap making materials, signaling devices, fire kits or anything else of those sorts. This was built for my needs as a dad and cop. one of the most important parts is my quick to reach back panel. I think it was supposed to be for a CCW, but I don’t believe in “off body” carry... unless you already have one on your body and you want to have two!! I keep my “dual fuel” Streamlight and my badge here. I want both of them as close as I can have them, but still out of the way. I put some nylon straps on the bottom to secure a lightweight jacket or sweater. It was a simple addition with some leftover straps from another bag. I couldn’t think of another reason/use for south pole molle??? the bottom pouch houses my PIG gloves. I originally had them just clipped to the side, but they flapped too much. This is just as fast and now they’re out of the way. front pouch is really flat, and only good for certain shaped items. I usually host a handful of CROM business cards here too... which reminds me, I need to order more. my next pouch is a little larger. I currently just have a bunch of emergency ear plugs in here. The reason for this is that I’m constantly in/out of my machine shop and I’m forgetting to grab ear pro. This was just a fast way for me to grab more. The little square package is a sewing kit I snagged from a hotel. Never pass these up! I take them whenever I see them, and sometimes ask for extras. I put them everywhere. the main compartment is pretty large, as seen in the first pics. I made this battery kit for traveling. It has a 27.8k mAh battery with accompanying cables and wall chargers for just about everything imaginable. Unfortunately it’s not powerful enough to charge a full-size laptop, but everything else is covered. A fast wall charger and USB-C port make this a speedy unit! I keep a silica bag inside the box to keep moisture away from my wires. on the very top is all my first aid. I keep a CAT tourniquet wrapped in shock cord on the outside. Inside is a very full first aid kit, covering just about everything I can imagine for my family. Most of the items came directly from my time in an emergency room. On one should strap is my quick to grab Benchmade seatbelt cutter. This bag is small enough to fit under my driver seat. I make sure I can at least grab this. I have a smaller Gerber cutter in my duty gear. Due to recent politics, I wouldn’t buy another Benchmade, but there’s no denying their quality and the fact that I’ve had this for YEARS. I keep a Vanquest organizer case attached to the outside molle. Inside you find: 1. Extra pocket knife 2. Black Sharpie and a pen 3. My house keys 4. A ziplock baggie with wet wipes (must have!) 5. Bic lighter 6. Roll of small plastic waste bags 7. Small flashlight 8. Universal USB cables, wall chargers and spare batteries. If you look to the side of the organizer, there’s a polymer carabiner and an HK-style clip on the molle. I use these to quick clip gear, like my gloves and my water bottle. I don’t use them often, because I don’t like stuff dangling and swinging (intended innuendo). my Leatherman Surge is molle on the second shoulder strap. I keep a spare Bic lighter in the elastic. The Surge has the entire bit kit, with bit extender, and a spare saw and file. I use this piece almost daily. I originally bought this for duty, but I never take it off this bag. Looks like I’ll be shopping for another multitool soon. last is my innocent looking cellphone case. I swear I bought it for my phone, but I later realized my phone was a 1st line item, and should remain in my pocket. This was empty for about 13 seconds when I realized it would fit two 11rd single stack magazines. Perfect! That’s about it. Obviously stuff changes as my task and environment changes. I try to keep this bag “school friendly” as much as possible. It’s a little much, without going over the top. Lol

I could use some diagnosis help, please.

Let’s try to do this on the cheap as possible route. Have you ever bought an Accu-Wedge before? https://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/receiver-parts/receiver-hardware/accu-wedges/brownells-accu-wedge-sku080000663-27507-53257.aspx?rrec=true It’s obvious that your carrier is grabbing the CH somehow. The upward pressure from the wedge might be able to separate the receivers just enough to eliminate that. It’s a $5 experiment. The wedge has to be cut to fit. I used a loose razor blade to shave off very thin layers till my receiver squeezed together tightly I “polish” (for lack of a better term) all my charging handles with 0000 steel wool. I hate the course anodized finish, so I put a thin layer of lube and then I rub the CH down till it’s smooth. This added bit of attention might assist with your carrier too. Especially if you’re using a phosphate carrier. -
And I had more in the car!
