  1. ProMag makes a 10rd .45 UZI Magazine.
  2. http://forum.308ar.com/forum/126-matrix-aerospace/
  3. This I can agree with. I think we should keep Ruger and Mattox separate just in case there is some unknown discrepancy in the future
  4. Over the last 5 years there have been less than a handful of different calibers built by our members. 1 or 2 .243's and another 1 or 2 6.5's. I know there's a .338 Fed on the way... if his barrel ever shows up. don't know if a separate board would be a help or hindrance.
  5. Dreamy..... really?
  6. Additional... I think just the locking portion is Ti. The rest is Aluminum.
  7. Nightforce makes a Ti lightweight ring. They're not QD though. I have them on one of my rifles.
  8. THIS!!!!
  9. it looks like there's a DFP version coming out. That's why the FFP and SFP are getting unloaded.
  10. Did I say Armalite? Fukc me... I was tired and flustered. This was my first attempt at doing anything like this.
  11. I just checked. They have the full video up now.... complete with "technical difficulties".
  12. The LaRue PredatOBR would've likely been the rifle I ordered if I didn't build my own.
  13. in no particular order. .. LMT MWS LaRue PredatOBR SI Defense Ambi PWS Mk214 or Mk214 Colt CM901 Any of those rifles can be bought off the shelf, never "upgraded", and forever be considered top tier rifles.
  14. Why haven't you bought a sonic wash tank yet? That Mk18 was THE DIRTIEST firearm I've ever shot. Worse than an entire day of black powder muzzle loading. I've never had to mortar an empty rifle, just because it was dirty. For the record... Daniel Defense made a dream machine with that Mk18. I added a shut ton of lube, mortared her open, racked her a few times and added a bunch more lube... then bang bang bang... she didn't need any cleaning. She liked being dirty and treated badly. Just how we like them.
  15. SHIIT! It's already up?
  16. The only significant difference between the mags is that three of them have a slightly longer reinforced area (as seen in the pics) Spoke with the old man about the mags. He said they were over stock from the old SWAT locker. They were used in a Thompson and/or GG. He's not 100% sure if they were interchangeable, but he had both weapons in the armory before they changed over to the HK MP5. I had the opportunity to shoot both of them before they got decommissioned. He snatched up a grocery bag full of mixed magazines before they got tossed in the round file. He says there were a bunch of M14, .30 Carbine, Mini14, Thompson and GG mags getting destroyed.
  17. These are averages of the six mags. They were all within .01 to .005 in tolerances. (A) Mag body width: 0.84”(B.)Mag body length: 1.50”(C.) Mag body length, across reinforcement: 1.55”(D) Mag body width, across reinforcement: 0.90”(E) Top of mag catch to top corner of mag feed lip: ???(F) Mag catch pocket, height: 0.40”(G) Mag Catch pocket length, front to back (centered in cutout): ???” I missed two of the measurements because my kids were out of control. I guess the benadryl wore off.
  18. We just shot it last night. It had to be edited and then it will be posted... likely on Monday
  19. http://www.ar15podcast.com Guess who just got interviewed for 308AR.com for the episode #132 ***Disclaimer... I have no fuckin clue what I'm doing in these interviews. My kids were acting like damn heathens in the next room. I was pissed at multiple tech related issues that were fuckin everything up... I had fun though.
  20. This thread predates all three of my kids.
  21. I'll measure in the morning.
  22. My old man has misplaced more shiit than I've ever acquired.
  23. Well double shiit... I didn't know till now... the Grease Gun, the Mac-10 and the Thompson all use the similar magazines. I failed to mention there were about a dozen more mags, all labeled Mac-10 or Thompson.
