  1. What guy in his right mind has a twin newborns and spends a cool grand on a new pistol... buh-bye P220... Hello P227!!! I hate to do it, but I sold the old .45 for a newer, bigger model. I got sooooo much for the old one, I couldn't pass up the upgrade. New pistol, shiit ton of mags and a few hundred in my pocket. I can't beat that with a stick.
  2. 525 rd bricks are $50 here.... pretty damned sickening.
  3. Be careful saying nice things about Ron and me... You might be giving people the wrong idea about us. I'd hate to ruin the reputations we've worked so hard to keep up.
  4. First what MrRaley said... Also, Have you tried other magazines yet? Have you tried other bolt catches yet? Does the bolt lock manually? What BCG are you running with? How many rounds do you have through the rifle? What gas system are you playing with? Remember, as you are breaking in your rifle.... LOTS of lube in the action of the rifle. It helps to give the buffer assembly a little lube attention as well.
  5. Heya all, Just want to put out a heads up again. Remember to link to our sponsors for your regular habit-feeding buying splurges. I want to point out that I'm aware Brownells is often a little pricier than other alternatives, usually by only a dollar or two, but no other company make the same kind of contribution to our hobby as they do. If you have our sponsors saved in your "bookmarks", I just ask that you confirm that OUR link to their sites is in the URL code. We get a little bit of a kickback for every $ you spend... which keeps this place running. Thanks guys stay safe and shoot straight!
  6. Hey! Wait a minute!
  7. No one likes a quitter. You can't modify the M&P.
  8. I've had several in different builds. They are great triggers. The only negative that I have found is they take up a lot of real estate inside the trigger guard. Since they are flat, they are further forward than a normal trigger. While this usually isn't an issue, gloved shooting gets tight. Also, if you're using a BAD lever (or similar) you may hit both the trigger and the lever at the same time. I had a CMC flat trigger and a Phase 5 battery assist both installed in my SI-Defense .308 rifle. My trigger finger made contact with both at the same time. I replaced the CMC trigger with a MechArmor trigger... issue solved.
  9. I have a mil-surp m16 kit that I threw in my go-bag. JIC

  12. I'd actually prefer this design over the LWRC prototype. When I got to Q&A with the LWRC designer, I specifically asked why not the proven G21 mag (instead of the HK UMP mag)... he didn't like the angle.
  13. Tell me you guys saw this... https://instagram.com/p/6BB1f1tJ4F/
  14. They're a good operation. I'll bet that works out in more ways than one for you.
  15. They sell giant jelly dongs on gunbroker?
  16. That's actually kinda tempting. Lol
  17. I bought this barrel a few years ago, put a couple dozen rounds through it, and then put it away. It was a good shooter, but diapers are taking precedence, so I broke down the upper and started parting her out. Make: LOKI Weapons Systems Material: Stainless Steel, with Melonite finish Length: 14.5" Gas: Carbine Length, .750 at the gas block Twist: 1:8 Threads: 5/8"x24 Contour: SPR - Fluted EXTRAS: YHM clamp on low profile gas block YHM Carbine length, black plated, gas tube Here are side by side pics of the chamber brand new out of the box, and how it looks today... The barrel is still in immaculate shape and condition. Also included with this is all my left over .300Blk ammo: Remington UMC 115gr FMJ: 151 rounds (green ammo box included) Hornady 208gr A-MAX Subsonic: 16 rounds (Labeled as .300 Whisper) (also a box of spent, once fired, Remington brass, unk count) Original cost: Barrel: $300 Gas Block: $30 Gas Tube: $15 Ammo: $120 (approx) Total: $465.... I'm looking for $325 for everything seen in the pictures. Barrel Gas block Gas tube 167 rounds of .300Blk Ammo (unk count) Once fired brass for .300Blk I'm willing to negotiate shipping costs, depending on the distance.
  18. Supposedly the P320 .45 uses the P227 magazine (just slightly modified). That'll get you a polymer, striker fired, pistol with 14+1 capacity.
  19. The biggest trick to the .22lr conversion is cleaning and lubing while shooting. About every 100 to 200 rounds, I pull the BCG out and give it a good hose down with something like "Gun Scrubber". I like the clean/lube foaming spray. I just shake it off, reinsert, and continue shooting. .22lr ammo is some DIRTY shiit. It doesn't take long to gum up the works.
  20. Just in case.....
  21. Strike Industries makes keymod/mlok hybrid accessories
  22. I lol... hurry up and retire old man. I just found two "hole in the wall" microbreweries a few blocks from my house. All that typing has to have made you thirsty!
