  1. On my training bike (BMW 1150) I could lay it down to the engine guard and pull my legs up to sit side saddle. I rode the guard till I wore through the metal. As long as there is rubber touching asphalt, you can ride it.
  2. Damn.... I was just pilfering through my old man's gear and ran across ammo can marked "X Mags".... opened her up... Looks like I have another build on my hands.
  3. Get a Lancer tube instead. It'll have attachment points to add rails for a bipod or whatever else you wish.
  4. I own the Browning model B-92 in 44mag and 357mag, both with 16" barrels. They are all day shooters. Definitely my most favorite lever guns.
  5. 98z has an Oly .45 with their new magazine.
  6. Ron uses the very inexpensive and abundant m3 grease gun mags. He actually tries to talk people out of Uzi mags... something about unreliable mfgr's. I think the only American Uzi mag is made by ProMag.

  8. Normally I don't trust anyone named Ron, but... Ron Williams @ RMWxtreme. He is pretty much the inventor of the DI .45ACP
  9. are you using an Armalite AR-10 buffer spring?
  10. I'm still banking on extractor issues.
  11. Here's my dedicated build...
  12. I should mention that the Taccom3G is also a Ciener design... they just do it better. Most others are just rebranded CMMG manufactured parts... hence the reason why the Armalite version is no longer available. They got tired of fielding complaints for piece of shiit work.
  13. Taccom3G... no one else puts work into the .22lr like they did. I have a Taccom3G dedicated upper (I built it) And I have a Colt .22lr conversion. The Colt is flawless, but requires Colt mags. They're just 10 round inserts that you stuff in a 20rnd mag body. Spikes, CMMG, Taccom3G, Arma lite and a few others are all just Ciener designs. despite what they say on the box, they're still Ciener. There was a company before Ciener, called Atchkinson (or somethinget similar) but Ciener bought them out and improved their design. The major bonus about the Ciener design is the ability to use Black Dog Machine magazines. S&W's MP-22 is a great machine with an awesome magazine... but completely proprietary and doesn't come as a conversion.
  14. Have you taken the bolt apart yet?
  15. What buffer system are you using?
  16. Please include an actual picture of the product being sold. Having an original picture helps against any misconceptions that may occur... that's why we made it a rule.
  17. I always wondered if a trigger module would work better than KNS pins? Triggers like the CMC and the new MechArmor are built like tanks.
  18. Wouldn't this be trading gun shot wound for a ball peen hammer strike?
  19. I have no idea either. I scrapped it as fast as I posted it.
  20. Sorry JT. He does locals only. He's not an FFL, so he can't accept guns in the mail.
  21. His wife said the same thing on their wedding night.
  22. Agassi and McEnroe would be proud to share a clay turf with you.
  23. Just think how much smaller she'd be with a LAW folder

  25. That's BS. I used to have the original report. The contest wasn't scrapped, it was completed. I believe 5 rifles completed the contest with "passing" scores. There wasn't a definitive winner. The Colt (M4), HK (416), Remington (ACR), FNH (SCAR) and LWRCi (IC) all performed well and at the desired levels. The conclusion that I read was, none of the weapons greatly excelled beyond the performance of the M4, and the M4 successfully achieved all the marks set. The finding was, "why change?" The only thing that the M4 did significantly different was change to a piston operated system.
