  2. if you can find out if that is the true price on those there please verify, that is an outstanding deal <munch> , not that i'm in the market but i would consider buying one for a deal that good
  3. careful, that hairy little man is stealthy, never know when he's actually there
  4. you may want to try breaking in your rifle with heavier grain bullets, i believe it's in your armalite manual
  5. hey jon, been wondering where you been, even told tom to check up on you. <thumbsup>
  6. +1, and welcome to the club
  7. the only difference i think i have heard is that the armalite bolt catch is beefier.
  8. i looked at it but it requires quite an investment, where as the duracoat is more reasonable to start. if it fails in the long run, i'll strip it off and go to liberty.
  9. that's the one thing i don't have access to. i am going to order the duracoat from their site in the shake and spray set, and of course a full write up to follow, just waiting on my mega set
  10. i just have too many things here to spray magpul fde….. and i am going to get a semi gloss black too.
  11. that's a good price. i am going to try the duracoat at home on my ar15 build, but that may be someone i use in the future if it works out for you.
  12. i believe he is saying it was 150 to treat the bcg
  13. check out the heavy buffer link top help with recoil and functionality, clint knows his stuff. welcome to the site
  14. nice combo mark, i have a lw barrel on my larue it is sweet
  15. eh, i spend to much time hanging out with everyone here to add that time suck to my life. are you really missing me that much? not only that i don't like the idea of my info being out there for everyone to see. and my rock keyboard isn't facebook compatible. :strokin:
  16. i may buy a couple depending on price, where is the info at? does rainier have it or axts? has any price points been mentioned?
  17. that's nice
  18. boy, you were busy… mount the bi-pod, paint the mounted part of the ubr, the back strap of your grip, magazine, all in four hours! nicely done. you are the first i've seen with the ubr/grip multi color combo, and i like it… may i borrow your technique? what did you use?
  19. you coulda fit a third song in there……. ::) nice job
  20. <thumbsup> way to go, have fun and update us!
  21. use what works in those beasts <lmao> , if one cycles better or gives you noticable accuracy improvement, i would stick with it. it may take a day at the range… bummer <munch>
  22. what tools do you need? most of these projects take use of common tools and some friendly help. roll pin punches, strap wrench, torque wrench, a set of hex (allen) wrenches, might be all you'll need
  23. welcome bronc, i too chose sports over the military, my only regret. if you have any questions, toss them out.
