  1. This: http://www.cooking.com/5-in-twin-four-star-tomato-knife-by-zwilling-j-a-henckels_109206_11/ It's the type of serration that makes it unique.
  2. Fulton armory sells a 16" rifle length ultralight profile barrel, you'll just have to contact them to find out when they expect it in. Everything else looks good.... except stay away from any and all cmmg stuff. They just aren't consistent in their quality. Unless you are a gambling man....
  3. I just used a tomato knife
  4. Agreed ^^^^ I would try to get rifle, and I don't think the profile will affect it much (unless you are a professionally trained sniper you'll probably never even notice)
  5. Hello from western mass
  6. Speaking of MRAD, lgs had .338 lapua fggm in stock...... Just saying.... As a bought a few more pounds of Varget and grabbed 3k more primers
  7. I like pelican cases, but only have one for my LaRue. Drago has nice cases also.
  8. If that is ultimately what you are looking for, I would suggest 18". But with proper optics, bipod, most likely a PRS stock, you are looking at a rifle loaded out in the 13lb range. Perfect for setting up to shoot long distance.
  9. Wtf, I told you not to post my picture anymore!
  10. Gnat, you have to stop linking your items for sale every time someone mentions something in a thread. Give them your first hand experience sure, or link to another thread with an item review. You can always bump your for sale thread every few weeks.
  11. Welcome from mass
  12. This ^^ sums it up for me. I also go Magpul
  13. Lol, must be drinking too much water! Aaaaand?
  14. There's a 7.62 and a 5.56 version
  15. Welcome from ma
  16. Sure if you can get every manufacturer to join the site, become a sponsor, and post. I'm not holding my breath
  17. Have you checked out the ranging reticle for your Leonidas build? Was the Elcan sighting close for ranging? (I should have asked this first... Duh)
  18. Lol, that's good stuff! Glad he didn't think the same way or it could've ended up badly!
  19. It was using m118, 1-10 twist, from second hand info with same barrel
  20. And according to hornaday ballistic calculator I'm looking at 100-0 200- -5.5 300- -19.1 400- -42.1
  21. According to the ballistics of the round and what a ballistic calculator for the Leonidas said it works out to be close. Maybe I did it wrong. Still looking for fixed power though. No variable power scopes preferably, that's why it was initially between the Browe and ACOG. (I'd totally rip an Elcan after fondling Ron's.... But it's nearly double in price!)
  22. Chris, welcome to the forum. 23. Nice, going to explore some more options, looking for fixed power, and it seems that caliber will perform very closely to the .308 out of the 12.5" barrel
  24. It looks like it'll be close to (real close!) to ballistics for a 7.62x39 out of av16" barrel.... May try a Browe http://www.browe-inc.com/products/BCO%252d005-BROWE-Combat-Optic-7.62x39-Chevron-Reticle.html
  25. I'd like a 4x magnification with a ballistic drop type reticle, I'm avoiding a red dot on this one..... I think
