  1. Try some Midol, brother. Seriously... <lmao>
  2. No kidding - CONGRATS, SS!!! That's awesome, brother! <thumbsup>
  3. They were so nice, I had to lick one of them... <dontknow>

    freezer meat... :)

The real reason for the difficulty is because... All these bastards are FDE. God made them that way. Hard as hell to spot, because it's the perfect color. Kinda like rabbits and squirrels, too. I'm just sayin'... <lmao>
  5. Same thing with me and bolt guns - I only run the VTAC Mk 1 sling on those. Same sling on the Mk12 rifle, too. Love that bastard for anything that I might use the sling to "tighten up" in a non-bipod situation, be it standing, sitting or prone. <thumbsup>
  6. Oh. Sweet. Jesus.
  7. ^^^ I run their convertible sling (single point-to-2 point sling), and that thing is DAMN GREAT. <thumbsup>
  8. Oh, it's ON. Brother Greg, if you want some slack, just cut the rope... <lmao>
  9. MYYYYYYYY BROTHER. I think I forgot to mention this earlier... When I went to Vegas and visited Roger, I actually got to fondle THREE of those. Not one, not two... You get the idea. They were original, too... <dontknow> <laughs>
  10. I'm just wondering if that alters the wood in some way, or if there's a chemical treatment process that's applied to it. I'd hate for Heather to want to burn half of that thing later, and the wood won't light! <dontknow> <laughs> <lmao>
  11. Mike, I think it would work great as a hunting setup - radio, mags, any kind of small tools, Nalgene water bottles, lickies and chewies, etc. I'm very, very partial to Tactical Tailor for chest rigs - been using them since the mid-90s, at least. I have a 2-piece MAV setup in OD, and a 1-piece MAV setup in FDE. I'm positive I posted pics of that stuff before, so if I can find the thread, I'll get that pic in here. I also think a plate carrier would work well as a hunting setup - all your necesseties on the front (radio, mags, etc), and other stuff on the back (hydration bladder pocket, med kit, ninja sticks, etc). Either way, you can't go wrong - having a dedicated place for something specific beats the hell out of having it in one big backpack-type sack on your back. Once you wear it enough, muscle memory kicks in, and you always know that one piece is in exactly the same place, every single time. Repetition breeds proficiency. <thumbsup> EDIT - Mike, here's the thread where I talked about it. I also have a plate carrier from US Palm, with soft armor insert, and I really like that thing. I don't have a pic of that on the board. I have a stripped plate carrier shell with no inserts from LA Police Gear, and that's got some other pouches on it - no pics here either. I'll try to get pics of those two up for you.
  12. Hey brother, Midol works GREAT for guys. You think I'm joking, don't ya... If that schit can control a woman's cramps, think about what it will do for the "aches and pains" we guys get - it destroys them! I swear by that schit. My old 12-mile ruck march remedy was: Mile 4: 1000mg Motrin and a Budweiser. Mile 8: King Sized Snickers, and a Midol. Mile 12 (when you're done): another 1000mg Motrin, go home, take a hot shower, and have alot of Budweiser. No pain afterwards. No kidding, either... <thumbsup>
  13. If I had that much disposable cash, brother, I'd be sitting here on the couch, with my arm around some MRAD.
  14. Registered as a Democrat in California and in New Jersey (when he was 18). Changed registration to Republican in California last year according to American Review and wire sources.
  15. BOOOYAAAAA!!! Eat this, bitches! :fawkdance: I CAN FLY!!! <lmao>
  16. DNP is holding back - you can see the tassle (there WERE two, until I hit a bush), the basket - the horn is hard to see. Little pink squeeze horn. There's another pic out there of that thing flying, and you can see the horn better. <lmao> <thumbsup> I ain't skeered - I'm PROUD! Let's see some of you other guys nut up like that... <laughs>
  17. Well, either shibiwan got it, or he's just a minute late deciding about it...
  18. SI Defense, for the new screws, even if the one you have is okay. If you order online, the calculated shipping is crazy. If you call them on the phone for it, ask them to ship it in the regular mail.
  19. Heather looks damn good in that wood-pic, but Greg... Bro, you've got a bunch of lines in your face or something... <lmao>

    taper crimp?

Not sure what their AR series dies are, but the .223 Remington FL Die set has the taper crimp function, and the .308 Winchester FL die set has the taper crimp function. They have an instructional video out called "Precisioneered Handloading DVD" that clearly states all their FL die sets have the taper crimp function. This is the DVD: https://shop.rcbs.com/WebConnect/MainServlet?storeId=webconnect&catalogId=webconnect&langId=en_US&action=ProductDisplay&screenlabel=index&productId=6006 Do you remember who you talked to when you called them?

    freezer meat... :)

Get that elk, brother! I remember your father's flag coming up once before - 3 decades of service is amazing.
  22. Plus, you can always order up the threaded barrel. 700 is a good deal on that pistol.
  23. Did you use a screw to secure the bolt catch, or a roll pin? I know you said "bolt catch screw" above, but I just wanted to verify that it definitely was not a roll pin. <thumbsup>
  24. Awesome! I'll tell ya, you guys are putting in some work - you... Schit, didn't even recognize Rob, Jon is looking rather svelte these days. You guys enter some wrestling competition that no one knws about yet, and you're cutting weight? Awesome work. <thumbsup>
  25. Damn, that Turnbull is the Arizona one, too. With a $10k buy it now, I wonder what their reserve is...
