If it comes down to custom fitting - I'd fit that scope mount, and file it to fit the upper... WAY before I'd file on the upper, to make a mount fit. Something is definitely off, between those pieces. That's Arken's scope mount.

2 things I noticed here. You don't have a VLTOR A5 receiver extension, because you stated it's longer than the advertised 7 5/8". VLTOR does NOT mess this measurement up, ever. VLTOR supplies these things, under contract, to the US Marine Corps. They never make this mistake, and machine them deep. So, one of two things is going on here. #1. You don't have a VLTOR product, but you're calling it "A5 tube." #2. The 7 5/8" measurement is an internal depth measurement, not an OAL measurement. You might be measuring it incorrectly, here. Okay, I said 2 things, and that was Thing 1. Here's Thing 2. You better not be running a VLTOR A5 buffer in a .308AR. That buffer will be too long. I know you gave a dimension, a length measurement, but then you also stated you're running the heaviest A5 buffer you could find. The heaviest A5 buffer is the 6.83oz A5H4 buffer. I know because I've got one in a 6 ARC gun right now. A5 buffers are 4.000" long, and they're only used in Small Frame ARs. Never used in Large Frame ARs. So, some clarification on those parts will be necessary. You stated it's abusing you. What's your history with shooting .308 Win? Everything else in your numbers look decent, and your parts list doesn't suck. Your gas port is a touch smaller than I would recommend, for your barrel configuration - but it's working, and throwing brass at 1:30.

Because they STILL have it out for you!...

Lyman Case Prep Multi-Tool. Too easy. Use the VLD Inner chamfer tool, 3 turns, any crimp is gone. I have the RCBS Primer Pocket Swager 2, the press-mounted version. Works great. Too slow to use, though, if you're running bulk brass. Keep in mind - you only have to do this to brass once. After that, it's good until you split a neck or get a case head separation.

Witnessed this myself today. These uppers will go 900 yards on target, with 8.2 mils of dial, running the Hornady 108 ELD-M projectiles (handloads, not the factory Hornady Match ammunition). I can't imagine the factory ammo would be far off that. Pretty impressive for a 16" barrel. Well, downright shocking.

Make your own Barnes TSX projectiles... Buy bullet molds, brother, or have someone make some very specific molds for you...

Those 3 marks on that upper receiver look alot like the old Iron Ridge Arms (IRA) machining. What upper is that?

That was literally like pulling your own teeth, out of your own head, with channel-lock pliers, just to get you to do that. I don't understand, in the least, why that was so hard. Dirk, you owe me two bucks...

If you want to post videos here, Mike - then post them. I'm not posting videos for you. You know how to send video links - I get them daily. If you want a video up here, then just post the thing. Why do you want me to post vids for you?... And, why are we just figuring this out, now, tonight, in this thread?...

Last email I have from you is titled "Katie Hobbs Scandal" at 4:30pm today... I hate Katie Hobbs, so I deleted it. Not interested in her BS, and just want her gone already. She's worthless.

Okay. Do you want ME to post your links for you? Did you send me an email WITH A LINK TO A VID? Then, just post that shiit HERE, Mike!!! FUK!
-
GAWD DAYUM, MAN!!! Are we gonna have to WATERBOARD YOU fir a fucking LINK TO A VIDEO HERE?!!? You're posting fucking PICTURES of a video now. Post a link to a video, already, of what you're talking about. LINK TO A... whatever... And, I get shiit for a dumb phone, which I choose, and we have people that don't know how to run their fukkin' SMART phone... Unreal... I know for a fact that you can do this, because you send me anywhere from 8 to 12 LINKS to my email everyday, on this shiit. YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IT, BECAUSE IT GOES TO MY EMAIL... DAILY... LINK, MIKE... Thanks in advance.

There are alot of .30 Cal suppressors out there that state ".300BLK" but are not Magnum rated. If you want both cartridges, you better look for a suppressor that specifically stated as "Magnum rated." A 300BLK-only suppressor is gonna come apart on the end of my Win Mag bolt gun. If the can is only gonna handle BLK rounds at BLK speeds, it's coming apart after a few of my 225gr loads traveling 2932fps. It won't last after just a few shots, but the barrel is 26" away, so when it goes, if won't hurt me - but I hope someone gets it on video... I'll try it with someone's 300BLK can, just for the video... Definitely risk that one, just for the vid...

Isn't White wire the ground wire in house-shiit? Same here? I hate house wiring. It's fucking backwards to what is normal. These motherfuckers that came up with this shiit couldn't have made ground wires BLACK, like all other normal companies?!!? <<< That's not a black thing, that's a normal wiring thing, across many industries. Has nothing to do with race, unless someone makes it about race. If you make it about race - then you're a fucking Racist... ALL Honda Ground wires are GREEN. If you don't like what I said above about Ground Wires, then you're a fucking racist, Hate Honda, and Hate Aliens. And Fuk you.

2 weeks from now, we'll be out in the dirt. You still coming down?
-
Just post a Meme, with the link address in it, if that's all that can be done... Yeah?
-
How about a fucking LINK, brother... Throw us a bone here, a little bit, instead of cryptic posts...

@JBMatt has the Swampfox 1-10. I'll let him report on that one. I haven't picked up the PA .mil 1-10 yet, but I still will. Cash is King, and when I have the spare cash for it, I'll grab it, and it won't be long from now. I'm impressed with the BDC version, but I had it on a Grendel, the short Grendel, and just couldn't get my dope on the gun to work with the 5.56/.308 BDC worth a damn. <<< That was to be expected, kinda. I think the .mil version will much better suit that gun. Once I have it, I'll update this with the info on it.

No, you're correct. That's what you need to try, for your eye condition.

What do you have on order or in the mail? Part 2

Alot of the vendors that carry their stuff listed it as "discontinued." I tried to call VG6 and got nowhere. I called Aero Precision about it - Aero owns them. All I got for an answer was "they're working on re-designing a bunch of stuff" and they couldn't give me an answer on the CAGE device. That was the reason for my call in the first place, because of how well it works. Tell you what - the 300BLK Gamma that they (VG6) has listed on their website right now, as of yesterday - that thing is different than all the other 300BLK Gamma muzzle devices that I've ever bought. The pictures of it are different, the machining is different, and the number of vent ports in the top of it are different - fron previous versions. They're re-designed it, for sure. But, will it be better, or worse than before? Unknown, until I shoot the new one, side by side, and see. Or, someone else does, and gets the info up. New version pics: This ridge, or cutout, in the was bottom, never here before - not on any of the 300 BLK Gammas I have: The wrench flats are all the way down the side now - not on past ones: There are 3 ports missing in it, from the top, in this pic right here. One top center, and two posts bottom center. Definitely different than the previous versions... So, at least the 300 BLK Gamma is coming back. Unknown on the CAGE Device, and that thing was brilliant. If you fuk this up VG6, and Aero, then
