  1. Huh? Drew has a BHP?... ??? <dontknow> I think you're confused, brother - Drew doesn't have a BHP...
  2. Here's my opinion about hydraulic buffers:
  3. Don't waste your time drilling dimples, man. If you take that block off, throw it away. In the pic below, you see that stuff coming out of the block at the front? On the barrel? That shouldn't be there, at all. It won't matter how much you tighten that block, it's not sealing against the barrel.
  4. You shouldn't have anything coming out of that block, except a little bit of carbon around the gas tube exit, when you initially fire it. If you have oil coming out of the front, gas is pushing it out. That hole that's bored right down the middle of that gas block isn't "round," in my opinion. I don't have it in my hand to look at and play with, so I can't be certain, but that's the only thing I can come up with. If it was too large of a hole, it wouldn't have been tough to put on. If it's not round, it can be tough to get on, but it's not going to seal. Just like what's going on here with yours. That thing was made on a Friday, assembly line-style...
  5. ^^^ Hell yeah, brother!!! ;D I picked up my Mernickle holster for the 4" Kimber Tac Pro II at that show. <thumbsup> EDIT - Glad I read this thread again! Just ordered another Mernickle Extreme High Rise for the XD45! <thumbsup> ;D
  6. I'd start right there. Shitcan that DPMS gas block and get something else. No kidding. Precision Reflex, Inc (PRI) currently has all their gas blocks, minus one, in stock. Prices are normal, too. I can guarantee you (and so can they) that the gas block you receive will be perfection. http://www.precisionreflex.com/Control_Brake_pr-4274.aspx?CAT=4274
  7. Have him hit up this guy - Tom Wood. The shafts for my Jeep came from here, and they're damn tough. http://4xshaft.com/
  8. It'll be a two-piece when I'm done with it... <laughs> <lmao>
  9. We can definitely learn a few things from our brothers to the north. I hope we do learn those things...
  10. poop yeah, wearing dark shooting glasses so you can't see his eyes closed, upon "recoil flinch." Fucked up shooting style - as pointed out, stock too high in the pocket of his shoulder (not even in the pocket of his shoulder), because his head is too far back. Get your head forward on the stock, and get the fucking stock down into the pocket of your shoulder. Trigger finger "dragging wood" - dragging his trigger finger along the bottom of the receiver, instead of only making contact with the trigger. AND he's got that giant bugger-hook all INTO the trigger guard, around that trigger - use the first pad on the finger, dude. He's about 7 different kinds of fucked up in that photo. Poser.
  11. Should have already sealed, by now. It's definitely less than a hundred rounds, if everything is right with the parts. In one of your pics, I noticed carbon out the front of the gasblock - never seen that before. Only at the gas tube, where it exits the gasblock. I've built a handful of these things, and I'm just basing it from my own builds.
  12. Publicity stunt. I'm with you. It's bullpoopy. He shoots like a Kenyan.

    Tumbling

About a year ago, we dropped $1,500 on a big ultrasonic cleaner at work. Heated. That thing would hold FOUR sets of 4 banked carbs off streetbikes, easily. It's pretty damn big. I can fit about 375~425 pieces of 5.56 brass in a gallon zip-lock freezer bag, and I'd bet I could stuff 6 or 7 bags into this thing at once. I don't work Monday, but I'll take some brass to work on Tuesday, and toss them in that beast to try out. I'd like to see what it'll do with the brass. I can't believe I didn't think of this before now... :bitchslap: <laughs>
  14. Never heard of them - link to site?
  15. Awesome pic, Moby - I've got a similar one from my last Appleseed shoot. <thumbsup>

  18. Fcuk them in the neck.
  19. poop... I was hoping you'd buy it, not like it, and flip it to me... <laughs> <lmao>
  20. Dillons on boats - they'd work great on trucks. ;D
  21. I'll get new u-joints into that thing in no time, brother. What are you doing tomorrow? I'll tackle it. <thumbsup>
  22. Dillon M134. Google it. Nah, nevermind, here it is... ;D
  23. If you take it out and shoot it, you will fall in lust... quickly. Just hurry up a shoot it before Greg has a seizure... <laughs> <lmao>
  24. I will emplace the Combat Tracker patch somewhere on the kit, for you, brother. <thumbsup>
