  1. You keep saying this all over the site, here. Please go back and correct it all. It's everywhere.
  2. Not on the battlefield...
  3. Just need to toss this one out there to you - no such animal, for a reason, in the gas gun world. Armalite makes the AR-10. No one else does. DPMS makes the LR-308. Armalite takes offense when you title something "AR-10," and it's not an Armalite rifle, and they do so for a very good reason. Not nit-picking anything else, but that's something to nit-pick. Custom build by self, custom build by some awesome commercial builder, doesn't matter. No DPMS AR 10 exists. No offense intended, so please take no offense. <thumbsup>
  4. There's an awesome option for the 77/22 - it's called the Savage FV-SR. <laughs> <lmao>
  5. Thought I was going a little :cookoo: Is it the same situation as this? http://308ar.com/forum/black-rifles/ar-15-shortstroking-with-reloads/msg26223/#msg26223
  6. I seem to remember this very exact same topic come up about six months ago. The exact same one, to the letter. Am I imagining things?... <dontknow>
  7. Anyone ever seen an F-class rifle, or a match rifle, record the longest kill in a combat zone? What rifle was Carlos Hathcock's favorite? What rifle did Chris Kyle use on his deployments in the last decade? Food for thought. <dontknow> You're talking apples and hammers, here.
  8. Since I wrecked Rob's thread quite properly... <dontknow> <laughs> I ended up buying this one - 4" with the thumb safety. Quite like a 1911 in ergos. <thumbsup>
  9. Holy poop, there's so much to say about this... I can't find the words right now... I will be back here. I will comment. I will say this about the Polaris Victory motorcycles - those guys can build ATVs, and sleds. They need to work on big v-twins - they don't know what they're doing. Example - plastic lower oil valves in the forks. If you blow a fork seal, and collapse the legs, you crush the plastic oil valve. The only way to get one is to get a whole inner fork stanchion. Over $450... for a plastic valve. If it wasn't plastic in the first place, it wouldn't be a problem, and if they had a separate part number for that thing, it would be different, but they didn't think to offer that as a separate part, or make it out of metal. I have tons of examples like that, too... Long term maintenance is one expensive bitch on those... <dontknow>
  10. I hope, and pray, that you always keep the Freedom Group off your ass, brother. <thumbsup>
  11. Don't you go and get them in an uproar about MY PINKY, now... :(
  12. Previously, you did not. You've been a tease for quite some time now, with more than just this. I think you owe us all dinner, and much more pics - more than you know... <laughs> <munch>
  13. Now we know where he hides his roast beef... <laughs> <lmao>
  14. That is so awesome, brother! I'm damn happy for you! A little jealous, but still happy... <laughs> <lmao> Congrats. I know that this is a stepping stone, and you'll do great. <thumbsup>
  15. I would glady store them for you for as long as necessary, too. <thumbsup> Just get out here and help load magazines... <laughs> <lmao>
  16. poop yeah - between him and the ex, they'll put me in my grave early... :o :cookoo:
  17. Kalifornia stuff. Yee is an idiot, and needs to get "UN-elected." He's one of many. Glad it was turned down, because that poop typically spreads directly up the left coast (OR and especially WA), then the other AWB states adopt it in short order (NY and the others). I feel for you. I can't expect you to move, or hope that you'd move, but you're in the direct center of the "anti-gun" that leads the nation, and you're surrounded by the liberals-in-office that leads that state, and those that elect them. You cannot win. There is no hope of that, not even the slimmest chance. AB249 doesn't affect me in the least, as callous as that sounds. <dontknow>
  18. I'm now fully straight with the Bud's program, and that damn pistol is in my cart... Checking out soon. Kinda sucks, in a way, finding out about this - just not planned. I have another good purchase going down that I haven't said anything about yet. Damn. :(
  19. GemTech HALO. If the Battlecomp has the same dimensions as the A2, then it'll work on the Battlecomp. It mounts directly, securely, to the A2. http://www.gem-tech.com/store/pc/HALO-9p86.htm I never saw this topic come up the first time... <dontknow> :-[
  20. Nah, he started on August 6th... I've had plenty of time to go crazy by now... :o
  21. I'm surprised you two guys didn't bring up "The Human Centipede..." <dontknow> <laughs> <lmao>
  22. By Thursday, I'm usually so pissed at my kid's weekly performance in school, that I don't want to deal with anything else... He's with his mom this week, so I'm here... <laughs> <lmao>
  23. That lockring is the same one that Midwest Industries uses, and it's a very solid steel composition. I use a drift and hammer on them, and none have been deformed in any way. Sometimes they get the "black" taken off them, but that's what a Birchwood Casey Alumablack pen is for.
  24. Research the price for those items - those SAPI plates are DAMN expensive! Just make sure you're getting the value in the trade. If you trade cheap on your side, and get that stuff "cheap," then you've made one hell of a deal. <thumbsup>
  25. Yep - I'm done. Just found the Springfield XD45 I was looking for...
