    Its hot

Forgot about this, but I'll get back on it this weekend - sorry, man. I'll have a set shortly.

    Just two months

Damn, last time I hunted slug season in Oh was 1985. I miss that. :( Wasn't far from you, bgc - grew up in Zanesville. Never had a pig or boar problem back then, but I'd like to get back there in those woods and go after them now. My parents still live there, so maybe one day I'll do it. On another note, the Wheeling Cabela's is one of my favorites. <thumbsup> ;D

    37/40 mm Launcher

I can't even imagine how much it sucks to clean Peeps out of a barrel... <lmao> <laughs>
  4. I miss that, more than just about anything - I had two phenomenal guys back at Ft Lewis. They could work wonders, make anything, modify anything. I hung out in there as much as possible. They were magicians. They'd let me take anything in there, and it didn't matter what it was - they could make it better. That ammo has worked very, very well for me. <thumbsup>
  5. Had to move this one, man - sorry. Didn't quite fit in the Armalite category, so I stuck it in here.
  6. 15 pounds of thunder and pain, brother - that's one nice rifle. <thumbsup>
  7. I'll vote this one, also. <thumbsup> Doesn't matter if you order the stainless or the park'd version.
  8. Had a damn great time on the phone today, Roger - can't thank you enough, man. <thumbsup>
  9. I've already been charged, and Roger has one of each set aside for me... ;D
  10. You're into a stoopid amount of money, there - Titanium. Welding Ti is bad enough, and machining it is even more ridiculous. I'll post up some pics of a custom one-off Ti race frame for an ATV - it was over $15k. When it was seen in public, others noticed who had made it. They ended up calling the builder for one, and the builder denied ever making one, ever. Ti = $$$$$ Ti = Pain In The Ass.
  11. News, straight from Kel-Tec, just a couple weeks ago: KSG Update I 06-17-2011 Hello from Kel-Tec! We have been receiving numerous inquiries on the status of the KSG, so we felt an update was necessary. There had been some rumors that we had stopped production on the KSG, which we'd like to quell right now. The KSG is in early production at the moment with small runs going out for testing and evaluation. Things are moving along nicely here in regards to getting the KSG out on time. We are confident that the KSG will be shipping in full quantities by year's end as previously anticipated. We appreciate everyone's interest in this phenomenal shotgun design! If there are any changes we will be sure to post them here on the News section. Here's the official vid on it, if anyone hadn't seen it yet - it's pretty damn nice.
  12. No pics of the .308 in the meantime? You're a tease... <laughs>
  13. My goal is to bring joy and happiness to you on a daily basis - today, check. ;D That whole hearing-aid-thing worked out well on long drives with the girlfriend - I'd "forget" it when we left. With her in the passenger seat, if she was pissed about something, I'd just keep saying, "Huh? What are you talking about?..."
  14. THAT. IS. SLICK! That's by far the best 45-degree setup I've seen yet. Folds out of the way, low profile mounts on the rail, and you can use any KAC backup set that you want. Very well done.
  15. I know, Mom, I know... <laughs> I ended up getting a damn hearing aid for my right ear just before I retired... 70% loss in high and low tones... <dontknow>
  16. I was gonna mention that when the pics went up - that's the GG&G HD-XDS. I'd like to see the Standard XDS beside the Bobro for comparison (Hmmm... ;D ). According to GG&G, the HD-XDS weight is 17oz, and the Standard XDS is 11.5oz. I like the GG&G bipods, and I've always liked the Bobro's, too, just never picked one up. That's a good looking piece when you see the first-hand pics and comparo. <thumbsup>
  17. True. Don't know why or how, but it kinda just gets blocked out. <thumbsup>
  18. I've been eyeballing that shotgun for awhile now - when it hits the market, I'll be going after one. Awesome design, especially with the twin feed tubes. <thumbsup>
  19. Shat. One of my favorite places is having an Independence Day (weekend) sale. They're not open on Saturday, so I can't call them to find out if the sale ends on Monday the 4th, or if it would end on Tuesday the 5th, when they're open again - which would leave me missing the sale. I ordered some things I probably shouldn't have tonight, in a paranoid "I'll MISS IT!" fit... :o
  20. Bump for the Independence Day sale this weekend. Ends Monday night, July 4th at midnight EST.
  21. Man, you just can't leave that one hangin'... There's a good back-story to that quote... <lmao>
  22. Dang, edge, you've got to keep up, brother... <laughs> http://308ar.com/forum/index.php/topic,1064.0.html
  23. Welcome aboard, Red - very good to have you. What kind of specifics are you looking for in the adjustable stock?
  24. As you can see, I thought that was perfect sig-line material... <thumbsup> <laughs>
  25. ^^^ I concur - I could give a rat's ass how many granola-crunching politically correct dipshits in Seattle were offended or "harmed for life" by having to look at that. I lived there for 12 years, and the best thing I liked to say to the tree huggers was "I love the spotted owl - they're GREAT with gravy!!!" The accountability bothers the hell out of me. The hippies can kiss my ass.
