  1. That's funny, within itself... <lmao> <laughs>
  2. See, I get myself in trouble when I think I "skimmed" the thread accurately enough... :-[
  3. Oooooh, that's not good. :-[
  4. ...I still plan on this... ;D
  5. There should be nothing at all wrong with a Geissele trig setup, and it shouldn't require any fitting at all to your rifle - you need to give them a call and explain the problem that you're having. You'll have a satisfactory answer by the time you get off the phone. <thumbsup>
  6. Successful day - congrats, and damn good shootin'! <thumbsup>
  7. I like it! <thumbsup>
  8. I've used the Tubb Final Finish on three new builds now, and all I can say is - I'm very happy with how those rifles perform. <thumbsup> I'll use it on every new barrel I get in the future. My $0.02.
  9. Don't overlook Fulton Armory for a DPMS-compatible chromed BCG setup. They're almost never out of stock there. Clint keeps those suckers in stock. <thumbsup>
  10. Damn, I sure don't need that stuff. :o
  11. That's the problem with most of them. I think the Phase 5 will work around that, due to how it's made, but I'n not sure... You need the clearance to run it, and most of the time, that's on the upper, not the lower. Forged 15s don't have that problem: Billet ones, you have to be careful on:

That's still some good info - thanks for passing that to us. <thumbsup>
  13. No other companies that I know of - haven't seen anything else out there as of right now... <dontknow>
  14. Good catch - might be the scope. I'm running the PEPR mount on one gun with a Millett DMS-1 scope, and it clears a MagPul MBUS backup. Small-eyepiece scope, and it just makes it.
  15. I thought that's what he was saying up there... <thumbsup> <lmao>

Jgun, I'm not sure - but I'd like to know that info, also. I wouldn't change a thing on my S3G, but that would be good information. Try calling Geissele up - I'd bet if it's possible, they'd share the info and send you the springs. Phone: (610) 272-2060.
  17. I don't know how the BATFE would view that. I'm not sure if they'd approve or disapprove. I don't think you can legally have two driver's licenses, one from each state, active at the same time - in that event, your primary residence would be what's listed on your driver's license, which is your declared state of residency. <dontknow> This instance described here may very well be a good reason to write a letter to the BATFE Firearms Technology Branch.

That is one awesome looking setup - great build. <thumbsup>
  19. Brother, if you're going for something that's going to require an ATF Tax Stamp, then talk to me. You can turn a 5.56 marked lower into a Tax Stamp -other caliber rifle. There are things that you need to do, but the long-term issue is whether you're going to keep it "forever." Bring it up, man. Mine will be a 300BLK SBR, and that's legally. <thumbsup>
  20. I got lost in the conversation, and that's my fault... :o Mega lowers - 3H matches their lines for their billet upper, and that's stripped or Monolithic upper. Mega 3S lowers match most forged uppers. Rainier Arms Billet UltraMatch Uppers are friggin' sweet. I bought one to mate to my ARFCOM billet lower, and it's a match made in heaven. I liked it so much that I bought a second one to mate to my SBR lower 11.5" 5.56 gun (whenever that will get sent and approved...). That upper (SWEET!) is a damn good match to it's Aero Precision forged lower. Hope this helps, even if I'm way off-topic and confused... :o ;D
  21. Thanks for stepping in here on this one. <thumbsup> I'm damn glad you're here. ;D
  22. On my .308 I'm not running any backups at all - I don't personally think I'd ever need them on that gun, for what I do. On my 5.56 20" precision rig, I am running a set of the MagPul MBUS 2 lower profile sites, and I'm clearing the rear site with a set of high rings. I'll try to get some measurements for you on that stuff and post back, but the next couple of says are stupid-busy for me. I might not be able to get the data until Tuesday...
  23. As of this posting - not sure how long this will last, though - Midway has the Remington factory 300BLK ammo in the 220gr OTM sub flavor... Available. <thumbsup> I'm certain that the market will be flooded soon with factory ammo - it's only a matter of time, and I'm thinkin' it's not gonna be a long time. <dontknow> ;D http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=856618 If this link results in "Sold Out," then it sold fast, or they didn't have much. <dontknow>
  24. Same here, and I was smilin'... ;D
  25. I'll have one of these lowers coming from Dave probably late next week. Looking forward to this one, as it'll have the Mega Mono upper and be in the 300BLK flavor. ;D
