Yep, the WinMag. 225 ELD-M going 2932fps. I've heard "that's too hot!..." but I don't have ANY pressure signs at all. the brass shows nothing, no bulging bases, nothing. Perfect primers. It's the RL-22 powder, is what it is. It's acceptable for a WinMag and that projo - but it's a faster powder. That afternoon, at 6k DA, it was 2912~2917 fps. Might be time to clean the barrel...

I just piled up an epic Mile shot a weekend or so ago. I was on in 4, Impact. DA for the shot was 6k feet. Wind was 4~6 from the right - that's MAGIC. Cancels out the drift of a right-hand barrel twist. Any distance. 16.9 mils for 1390 AGL, 6k DA - 0.5 mils high. Hold UNDER 0.5 mils, bare miss, bare miss (don't chase it at a Mile...) - 4th round Impact. Had a buddy go 0/10 on his gun, lent him MY gun - AND, my "HOT AMMO..." already wind doped, already dialed - he got on in 3, and declared himself the WINNER. I was on in 4, new environment. He was on in (0/10 +3) with a dialed and wind=doped shot, given away for free-fiddy-free. I won that one. By far.

They have the Stealth 28 HTs, which are the exact same thing, different color, and no BT. I've picked up two more sets of the HT's, working strong, 28 hour usability charge on one charge. I can run those for a full weekend of Shananigans, without recharging. Since I don't need the BT BS, I've been buying those straight HTs. No issues.

Not yet. But, I don't use them for any bluetooth shiit. I use them to protect my hearing, and they excel at that. Zero issues in that regard.

@GorillaTactics2089, I'll cut right to it. If you run an A5 extension or the Armalite AR-10 Carbine Reciever extension, or the MagPul SR-25/M110 extension - those are all 7 5/8" internal depth, and they are the original design for the AR-10. You must run a buffer that's 3.250" long. The buffer you first listed is a great buffer, but it's 2.500" long, made for a Large Frame running an AR-15 Carbine Receiver extension, which is 7.000" internal depth. True design depth is 6 15/16" internal depth. Every small frame out there does just great with 7.000" internal, though. So, the buffer you listed is too short to run with the extension you've chosen. The extension you've chosen is the proper depth needed to balance the recoil system to the gas system, on a Large Frame. If you order this buffer from Slash, if comes with an Armalite EA-1095 recoil spring... This is all you need to finish your recoil system... https://heavybuffers.com/xhcar.html

For a recoil spring, now that I know what you're intending - shitcan that WC offering, completely. Once you pick the appropriate buffer, run one of two springs, only. Armalite EA-1095 spring, or Sprinco Red spring.

Damn good thing I asked. That buffer you selected won't work with the receiver extension you've stated. You have the right internal depth on the receiver extension, for a large-frame ar - just get a different buffer from Slash.

For historical mention - Matt is the ONLY dude ever, so far, to have the ballz to take a gas gun to a bolt action game. Everything else - EVER - that's been on the Backfire Challenge, has been a bolt gun. Matt fuqd them all up with a gas gun. The times are changing, brothers...
