  1. Squared off ejectors will fuk up every round feeding from the right side of the magazine - which is every other round... When ejectors are jacked up, you notice it "intermittently" - until you start paying attention to it - happening every other round, and those rounds are always coming from the right side of the mag...
  2. We can work with that, and get it running. Have no fear. I need to teach you the definition of "oversized..." I mean, I can SHOW you was oversized is... but sometimes, that still doesn't stick...
  3. Same principle, but for gas pressure instead of electricity.
  4. Max you can ever make a gas port is 0.125", because that's the I.D. of a gas tube. If you need bigger than that, we'd have to braze in a turbo encabulator into the middle of the gas tube, to bump up gas pressure when you fire.
  5. No issues at all, to 0.076" - take it up, and let us know. Make sure you're getting those decimal points in the right place, otherwise, you're putting more than a 3/4" hole in your barrel...
  6. ^^^ That's the one, and it allows the buffer to be placed farther forward, so the BCG definitely pushed it off the pin, and it'll never chew up the buffer face again. Sounds about right. I'll look up gas port sizes based on that. EDIT - That ejector face looks pretty squared off. That never helps feeding, specifically when the rounds are coming from the right side of the magazine.
  7. What lower are you using? I didn't see it mentioned above. Something is wrong, if you bent the retainer pin - that means the back of the BCG isn't pushing the buffer face off the retainer when you close the upper to the lower. Let's solve that first. Next, describe that XL gas system on the Odin 22" barrel - how long is the gas tube? I can figure out the gas system length if you give me that info. Oh, and always run an adjustable gas block wide open when you start. That's the only way you're ever gonna find out if your gas port is large enough.
  8. Gas port is too small. 18" rifle gas needs 0.093"~0.096" to run right (for a 0.750" gas block journal size). Get that Armalite EA1095 recoil spring in there and punch the gas port up, and your gun will run like a champ. All other measurements look good. Faxon runs a 0.750" journal for that barrel.
  9. You had dibs, brother.... PIck it up, it's on your list. I can make time, sometime, and go hassle Armalite right at their place of business. That's the best way to get all the out of stock parts from their website - because they're all there, in the back. I can back the car up to the front door, raise the hatch, give them my money, and load it all up...
  10. ...and I'm gonna paint THE FUK OUTTA THAT THING!!!
  11. If Savage doesn't want it, I need one right now as well, for my second .260 Rem upper. Armalite is out of stock at the moment, and I don't have the time to drive up there and have them "find" one for me.
  12. That's a DPMS LR-308 based barrel, where they drilled the gas port location. Any AR15 rifle gas tube will work perfectly. Save that 15.5" gas tube - that's the Armalite AR-10 rifle length gas tube, right there. Don't cut it - replace it and keep it. Cutting it won't work with a damn, because you'll remove the flare on the end.
  13. We still have that thread, which means we still have that vid, brother. I'll try to drag that out of the section it's in, and make it public and live. You were a SAVAGE in testing...
  14. I'm glad you chimed in, brother - I can post that vid if necessary...
  15. WAY back when, when the lube was coming up - I TOLD you these guys were hardcore!...
  16. That test thread was awesome. That was actually in later 2016, going towards 2017... That's about when @JBMatt and I started shooting together - I conned him into coming out to the SDTF to shoot - and everything changed... I've ended up costing him alot of money, over the years now... 🥰 @jtallen83, the frozen pistol with frost on it, in that thread, was epic, brother...
  17. Shiit, my bad, the .308 Win is out of stock... Looks like these guys have Forster gauges in stock - I just added both to a cart for checkout. https://www.eabco.net/Forster-Headspace-Gauges_p_14570.html?lt_c=1&quickcart=1
  18. Brownell's has Clymer gauges in stock: https://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/measuring-tools/headspace-gauges/go-no-go-gauge-sets-prod26876.aspx
  19. The only firing pin that they offer is a real, no-shiit AR-10-looking firing pin. You better call them, and see what pattern these guns that they're chasing. This firing pin WEILL NOT WORK in a DPMS-based or patterned BCG... https://whitelabelarmory.com/product/ar10-firing-pin/
  20. Never heard of these guys before this post. Ever. https://whitelabelarmory.com/ I think calling them on the phone, as directly asking them where their parts come from, is the best bet. Call us at 1-847-847-4311
  21. I'm grateful for this, brother. Glad they're coming around. Way back in the day, I was on there, and got to make ONE POST, and was banned. Someone asked about a good AR15 barrel, and I suggested Spike's Tactical - BAN! With one post. That stirred me up, like you don't know, and I got on ARF, and praised the fuk outta Spikes. That led to the fucking OWNER of M4C sending me a PM - on the site that I was banned from, and could still read? I read his email notification. Fuk that douche. I lit him up on ARF for even PMing me in the first place, and posted his shiit that he sent me. All the bandwagon long-time guys over there were all over that. Eff 'em all. Looks like - as it turns out - those people over there don't know enough about Large Frames to even hold their own water... Where those old-timers at over there, that were slamming me 10 years ago?... 🥰
  22. Fuckin' Savages, I'll tell ya. These bastards would eat their young.
  23. Just so you know, @JBMatt is the one that actually makes the lube. We tested it here for a few years, and it's the best stuff out there.
