  1. Alright, fuckers...
  2. This will bring it all into perspective:
  3. Matt said I was CBK... Cold Bore King.
  4. Nope! I had a job do to. Did it with one round.
  5. That's correct.
  6. Uh huh...
  7. Just for the record... last year, Postal Todd brought out a .300 Win Mag. He was shooting the mile with us. He had some 168gr ammo that he bought. It was nowhere close to being able to get there. Nowhere close. Too light, ran out of steam well before the target. He was frustrated. Now, Postal Todd has a Savage .338 LM bolt gun, and he's gonna make this shot, this spring. We'll see what happens.
  8. Oh no - with the smack talked already you get the Win Mag already - with the detachable 5-rd mag. You get ONE ROUND on the mag, brother. Put up or shut up. Hey, I'll even dial the 16.9 mils in the scope for you, and get you comfortable on the bench, beforehand. I'll do anything I can for you - so you can make that easy shot, just off-center on the plate. Now, when I give you the second mag, loaded 5-full - you better show me the difference between "control, fluke, repeatability" and all that other stuff you talked. I expect a first round hit, followed by 5 more -by your definition. We'll see how this goes... I'll bring my mile gun, that's for sure. So will @JBMatt. Not enough.
  9. Last I checked, militarily, they didn't require Snipers to shoot someone twice. Just once.
  10. I will call you - brace yourself for impact...
  11. We'll just see what you can do - bring your mile gun with you next week... I already have one of those...
  12. I hurt so bad from the night before, that i had to have a Bloody Mary right away that morning, just to get me straight. And I cold-bored that fucker. Cold gun, straight out of the case, first shot. Staggered up to the shooting platform. Hey, it worked. Who's to say it didn't? Nobody. Because nobody here has ever done that, on one of these shoots. Let's see what happens next weekend....
  13. That's what got my cold-bore that morning - the night before was ROUGH! I still managed it, though. Maybe that's what "calmed my nerves..."
  14. I've already done this, multiple times. Brother, this is old-hat to me.
  15. LOL. We donlt need "definitions" of bullshiit - we need performance. Control, fluke - whatever. I did it already. I'll let you shoot my gun. And my ammo. I will shoot it first and hit the mile. After that, we'll see how many shots it take you to hit it... You in?
  16. This is gettin' Spicy! I like it!
  17. I already proved it. Walked to the line, settled, pulled the trigger. BAM! Done. One and done. The only way you can call that "luck" is when YOU do it. And You repeat it - then, you can tell me I suck... and can't pull it off again... I walked up there, and did what I had to do. With one shot. At a mile. Damn near dead-ass center of the plate, too. An 18" wide plate at a mile is less than one MOA. I'm just sayin'... And that was the middle of it... An 18.4272" plate would be one MOA... I'm just sayin'...
  18. Cold-bored the mile at the last fall shoot. I know my gun is 16.9 mils of dial at a mile. Dialed it. Hit the 18" wide target 3" off the direct center of the target, to the left, first shot. Did it work? Was it within the 5.3" range that you stated? Yeah, It was... You were there - you saw it through the spotting scope... I think I controlled it. I'll accept payment once you get here - because I think you forgot about that one...
  19. You do this in your head? Really, brother? I look at my scope, and it tells me what to do. The only calculation I need to do it in multiples of mil = 500 yards. It runs really smooth, in practical application, and it's pretty damn accurate, with 1/10th mil gradients in the scope.
  20. What's your max error at a mile? It's a miss...
  21. Math sucks, when you're shooting, and you have no time for calculations-in-your-head. There's no reason for it. When time matters. Why complicate it with MOA? It's much faster with Mils, and less thinking. If you're shooting under stress, eliminate as much thinking as necessary, and take the shot. That's why the military doesn't use MOA, at all... I'm just sayin'...
  22. Call it 3.5, for 500 yards. Just to get it - 500 is easy. Call it 7 for 1k. How far will you be off, rounding up?... Asking for a friend...
  23. 3.4377...
  24. If a man fills a mil, in my scope, he's 500 yards away. Range estimation. If he fills half a mil in my scope, he's 1k yards away. I got this... What's that for MOA, and range estimation? 500 yards is how many MOA away? I can do that math for you right now, and tell you - it's not a normal measurement, brother...
