Here's the cheat code for the Claymore... ICPAARC. Remember that acronym. Inventory the mine. Check the contents of the M7 bandoleer, make sure you have all your shiit. Conduct circuit test. M40 test set plugged into the M57 firing device, 17m of wire plugged into the M40 test set. Clack it off until the test set shows you a green light. Place the mine. Yep, get that thing out there 51 feet (17 meters) in front of your COVERED firing position. Cover is very important here. Aim the mine. Either the slit-type sight or the peep sight. Slit-type you aim at the ground 50m out. Peep sight you aim 2m high at 50m. Arm the mine. Yep - blasting cap goes into the shipping plug, shipping plug gets screwed into the mine. Re-aim the mine - check that your arming didn't fuk up the aiming, before. Re-aim the mine. Conduct another circuit test - M40 test set installed on the M57 firing device, wire plugged into the M40 test set. Clack it, look the green. Finally, remove the M40 test set, plug the wire into the M57 firing device - and that mean motherfukker is ready to go. Wait for bad guys...

Bro, the M18A1 Claymore Mine is my absolute most favorite perimeter defense tool. Bar none. M40 test set, M57 firing device, 17m of line, M7 bandoleer, slit-type sight or peep sight doesn't matter, and all of it. It's the best invention ever brought to production.

If I do that match in Wickenburg, I'm taking the Rem 700 AAC SD rifle in 308 Win. TBD...

I might say Fuk It, and not go to it. In light of that, I signed up for a match on 3 Oct here in Phx instead... So, match on 3 Oct, annual match on 17~18 Oct, back to my 40th reunion on 24 Oct... and if I do this match here in Wickenburg on the 10 Oct date - my October is just fukked... Match in Kingman on 27~28 Sep, before October, Match in Kingman on 7~8 Nov, Fall Shoot the next weekend 12~15 Nov, Cowtown match the Saturday after that... My whole Fall is already fukked...

What's the range to to the top forward edge of that water tower, facing your house? If I lived there, I'd have that on my range card. I'll never give up high ground around me, without knowing how to designate it as a TRP. TRP #1 is always the highest location around me.

Funny you should mention that, Pete... I have a complete CR85 powertrain ready to go into a project. Originally, I wanted a cart - street or track cart, little tires, etc. 2 months ago, I changed direction, and want a little offroad cart, some suspension travel... Get out of my head!
