  1. This is a valid point - it'll be here for you, brother. I FINALLY get to pay @Armed Eye Doc back a trigger, that's bounced for a few years now... I have some MBT-2S coming out my ass right now...
  2. Unreal - she gets away with "Shenanigans"... Truth. You coming out for this one, brother? You and Dave?

    Hello!

If we can get her out here for a shoot - he's gonna be here...
  4. Just have them shipped to me. I'll ship them to you.
  5. I've ridden ONE in my entire life, and it's the most terrifying streetbike I ever threw a leg over.
  6. You guys gonna let her get away with this?...
  7. It's highly possible that the CR500 ate him. Mine has tried to kill me several times, that bastard...
  8. I have one of those - and the thing terrifies me. IT picks the time when it's gonna try to kill you - and nothing you can do about it will change it's mind...

    Hello!

We HAVE TO GET HIM DOWN HERE, SOMEDAY. We must. There's not even an option for that, like "Yay or Nay." We have to get @Magwa down here. Mike, you'll like this one... She can SHOOT!...
  10. Gonna hit a dune "day" next weekend, and rip what we can for one day out there. Sand ends up everywhere = in your ears, eyelids, butt-crack... It just gets all over. You can't do anything about that... It's GOING... deal with it... Bet I'll have some epic pics from this one...
  11. You didn't hurt my feeling. I give not one shiit about you. Nothing you do impacts me in the least.
  12. You look like a total idiot right now - if you even really read what I posted. But, I knew that you were a complete idiot.
  13. You are clearly a fucking idiot. If you want to start slinging personal insults, I'm all about that, and will accommodate you. I'll embarrass the fuk out of you, too. Say GO. Let's just do it.
  14. Well, you've proven that you're a complete fucking idiot. I already knew that when you posted the first time - and you just HAD TO GET OUT THERE, and prove it to everyone else. Well done. Golf Clap for you. You slayed it.
  15. Here's the question - he has ONE POST, and we don't know what hardware he's working with. Not one CLUE. This is legit info. As fuk. Yes, yes we are, because that's what's gonna be required, to find out his question. Mind you, this original thread - before necroscopy - was 2015. Go bust out how badass you are in the Intro Section. I'll help you find it. https://forum.308ar.com/forum/22-introductions/
  16. @Moon Boots - I know you haven't seen the Drunk Werks Garage Sex Swing yet - go back a page here in this thread, and this is it... Painted version, and the Naked And Afraid version, right out of the shop...
  17. Bullshiit, brother - you're just "big-boned"... And a hell of alot of fun! You want Fox body hatch, with a 5.0L and Cobra intake and GT-40 heads?... Asking for a friend... @Moon Boots
  18. The early Live Free Armory receivers had the slant cut, and ran both thread pitches - some were 18 pitch and some were 16 pitch - so you even had to be careful with those, for handguard/barrel nut choice. Now, all the LFAs are no slant-DPMS LR-308 based. I have an early LFA set, and testify to that, and provide pics. That is exactly "splitting hairs" and I'll give you the direct answer: There IS NOT a mil-spec on large-frame ARs. Nothing to "follow", for any manufacturer, so any manufacturer out there can do whatever they want, whenever they want. As consumers, we have a giant ball of trash to wade through, every single time a new manufacturer releases a new rifle. Gotta figure out WTF they did with this thing.
  19. @Bruce - awesome news, man!!! I'm glad this beast is running. More than you know. Keep the updates running, on how it's doing. This is fantastic news.
  20. I trim cases to the exact same length every single time with these. Works every time. Same minimum case length every time. It's so simple, it's easy. As fuk.
  21. Not really price gouging - you have to look at the industry, and be able to read it. They can't order an entire pallet of primers anymore - the inventory, because of the demand, just isn't there. It's panic-buying all over again. Before, you could just yell out to your supply specialist, "Hey MIKE! Go ahead and order 6 MORE FULL PALLETS of CCI 400 primers!!!" Big, montrous buy that will get you through 6 more months of orders, and you get a giant bulk discount, you get them 3 weeks later, and your HazMat fees are less for that literal semi-load of primers that you just bought. Not happening now. Look at the market, not the vendors. If a vendor can get 20k primers, that's like hitting a gold mine. But, it will get them through NEXT WEEK... And the HazMat fees will be higher... Perspective, man. Understand the market -and don't blame the vendors. It's not their fault. THE DEMAND is the problem pushing this, as well as COVID restrictions - didn't use to have people 6 feet apart, but now they need to be. That reduces how many people you can even have in the shop or factory at one time. Now you needs 2 shifts, not just the 9-to-5 you had before. NOW, you're running 3 shifts! Electricity, water, etc., times 3... I hope you see where I'm going with that. Hope you can smell what I'm spreading. It's not the manufacturers fault, not distributors fault, not the small shops fault... It's just the times we're in - and I outlined why we're in those times. It sucks, yes. But, it's not about gouging anyone...
  22. Tell me about it. Bike-wise, I have a couple pistons that are 12.5:1 compression (91 octane)... then the little evil fucker that's 14.5:1 compression. THAT mean bastard is 103 octane minimum at 4600 feet of elevation, but if I run it at 1200 feet, I need 107 octane. I'll take a topend apart just to put that 14.5 in there, and fuk with people. But for the most part, I don't want it in there unless I need to really, really rip it up. Bikes and cars are different, for advertised compression ratios. Bikes always use static compression as the calculation, cars always use dynamic compression as the calculation. That's why you'll never be able to run a car with 12.5:1 compression on 91 premium pump gas - you'd blow that fucker up in no time, one rip. That's a dymanic compression number for cars, not static compression. I wrote a paper on this, I should post that bastard.

    Hello!

Dune day is locked in for (overnight) 6/7 Nov. The weekend before the shoot. If I can't get that Pro XP out of the boss, then we have a big-bore stroker RZR 900 to rock around in. Either way, it will be a great time. Never been to the dunes before, huh? Pull your big girl panties up, and... BRACE YOURSELF!!!
  24. It's one of the best things you can do with clothes on, brother. One of those guys in my squad is 69, brother. He gets it done!
