Here's Roman's link that didn't work out - here's that song... Tom MacDonald.

That dude us serious. SERIOUS. LIsten to more of his stuff, if you're into rap. He lays it ALL out, and pulls no punches. He'll fornicate ANYBODY up, if hey don't like his opinion. And he won't waste any time about doing it, either. He's legit as fuk.

THIS. Check this one out. I love it.

That was my point, exactly - if you don't push it to failure, you'll never know how far you can really push it. If you never blow the engine up - you'll never know when to back out a little. Expensive, but important lesson - or "test", depending on how you look at it. I've built shiit to blow up - find the failure point. It's pretty exciting at times... but it's knowledge that you can't get any other way... You calculate the "money involved" before you ever take on a project like that, so it's all good - when it goes... Nitrous backfires, and what they can do, are the best "failures..." It's the ONLY way to truly test something, really. You need to take it to the point of failure. Otherwise, you're just guessing.

Yep, I married two of those, and just finished dating another one. Dated other ones like that, too - but I try to block that out...

It gets pretty spicy once in awhile around here... Nate, you get signed up for the shoot this Saturday?

I'm at 6 triggers now, at $79 each. We split shipping, so it'll be a couple bucks more, but not much. Any takers have until Friday, and I place the order. I'm not shipping these - this if for Fall Shoot Attendees, that show. Cash $$$ bitches, when you show...

It's not about the size of the man in the fight. Ever. It's about the size of the fight in the man. Always. This exemplifies that.

We're not all like that. Run it until it doesn't shoot. That's what happens in combat, more than not - find the failure point. This happened here - glad you're ok, Roman. That's a fucked up failure, right there. I did my time, cleaning guns until inspection-ready - just from a routine semi-annual qual. I've also done the "you have 25k rounds that have to be fired before Monday morning... What's your plan?..." announced on the Friday afternoon... Meticulous guns is bullshiit, unless you're making money shooting. Dirty guns run. Finding that limit is the key. Roman excelled at that one, with this one.

The MI Combat Rail is pretty slick - this is my 2nd one now. See if you can catch a sale somewhere on one. It's worth it. Here's the 12" on a 16" barrel.

First taker. If others here pony up, I'll get 5 more. I think I have 5 people locally that will get them, but I don't want to UNDER-order. Rex - 1 Me - I'l always take another DirtBike Tommy. In for #3. @JBMatt will take #4. Sarah will take #5. That's the 5. If anybody else is in, that's coming to the fall shoot, you better speak up. When 9 dudes want five triggers, I start making my shipping back...

1/2 MOA is possible from a gas gun. It's not often, though. Sub-1" is common, despite people saying gas guns can't be relied on to shoot Sub-MOA. I have many that do, regularly and repeatably. If I do my part, I can count on the gun to deliver. Sub-1/2 MOA is a different world for a gas gun. But it's not a unicorn. I've done it a few times. @JBMatt just did it last Sunday with a new load for the 6 ARC. Welcome aboard. Getting that PSA to do it might require some work - what mods have you already made to the gun?

We'll end up drunk as 8 monkeys, but this is doable. I can blow up a weekend on that project... -

I have a pretty badass "sponge-camo" job in a Savage FV-SR somewhere here too. All dirt-colors. Search it out, that thing came out sweet. P.S. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't paint a LaRue rifle or an Athlon scope - you can, but you better ABIDE by what Athlon says when you Cerakote their scopes... -

I Cerakote the fuk out of my guns, every chance I get. They start out with my custom mix of Sexual Chocolate. After that, I never know where it's gonna go. Here's how this one started out, then ended up. That was Sexual Chocolate. But I fucked with it after that. -
I just built a 16" precision gun from a barrel that Ballistic Advantage put on sale. Bought the barrel. Only other things I had to buy were the grip, buttstock, LaRue trigger, and a handguard. I had grips in a pile - but that's my "I don't like these things" pile. Bought the one I wanted instead. Oh, I need a specific red dot for this one, too. I'll have to get that still. Spare parts RULE!

I can buy .338 Lapua Magnum match-loaded 285gr ammo for about $120 a box. OF TWENTY ROUNDS. That's $6 per round. I can load that for about $2.50 a round. Not long ago, I was loading that for $1.90 a round -but "these times" happened. Does it save money? Definitely. For range-blasting ammo, I was buying PMC Bronze 5.56 55gr ammo for $250 shipped, case of 1k rounds, to my house, in 2012. 25 cents each, and it used to cost me about 27 cents to load one of those. No-brainer. Ship it to me cheaper than I can load it, and I don't have to work? Done. What's that 1k case of PMC Bronze 55gr cost now? About $600 (or north of that), if you can even find a full case to buy... Reloading saves you money. Period. Especially for precision ammo. Sometimes even on bulk ammo (considering today's prices). My $0.02...

No experience with that one, but where I'm going soon is to the Sionyx Aurora setup. https://www.sionyx.com/pages/surveillance?gclid=CjwKCAjwk6-LBhBZEiwAOUUDpwbzvopEg-_KoiZr_pWlLBt7K9dag80AWZhpklElA-hj2czr6BuHZhoCc40QAvD_BwE -
@DJ619, you have no idea how happy this makes me. Truly.

I think I banged her. I still have the scars. Nails like talons, and a VERY bad attitude. Fun at first, before I had to apply a tourniquet - ON MYSELF... Chalked that one up to "learning experience" and got away whilst I still could.
-
Pay close attention to this one. Listen to it.

...better be running either the Sprinco Red spring, or the Armalite EA1095, in that bitch. I'm juust sayin'... Trust me, doubt me - better change that recoil spring to one of those two I just told you about. My $0.03 on it - this one gets the extra penny... We'll see how this shakes out in about a month from now, I know that...
