  1. Hell, I'll shoot that thing for you if you're too skeered to do it. I'd unbolt that Cock-Holster off the bottom of that grip first, but I'd do it.
  2. You like that Bunk Room in the design? "Cause we gotta house motherfuckers once in a while - or for a long while... I can either double or triple bunk those things in that room, and we go from another 3 to 6 to 9 - easily. If I triple-bunk it, it can be the "Matt Cross Family Room..."
  3. There's zero reason to do this, at all. None. You're worrying about something that a non-issue here. Mil=spec shiitty triggers are 5.5~8.5lbs of trigger pull. They suck so much, there's a huge variance.
  4. Fuk yeah - tunnels will be KEY. Here's my design plan. Looks ambitious for a structure, but there will be an EQUAL amount underneath - directly under it, in the exact same pattern... For other reasons... Floorplan underneath will remain Classified... Goal: I'd modify the plan slightly, if I could back it into a hill, and have the main structure partially underground.
  5. You're over-thinking this. If it's worrying you that much, just buy a Snap-Cap training round. Do you have any fired brass from this gun? If not, then other fired brass might not work perfectly. Or, do you have a piece of unfired, formed brass from the reloading press? That'll work, for the most part.
  6. Excellent choice. This will be a very nice gun.
  7. When you call Armalite on the phone, and talk to the people there, they magically find all the parts for the kit for you and ship it out. No kidding. The Armalite EA1095 spring is in stock right now at DSG Arms. Here's the link. https://dsgarms.com/lower-receiver-parts-armea1095

    Success!

Great deal, Chief! Ya done well, man.
  9. I think you did - with that grip. I still support you. Blow as many guys as you need to, to run that grip. I'm still here for you, brother. I'm sure it's comfortable, and "feels good in your hand..." You know, what you like in your hand... Big SOLID black base on it and all... I'm here for you feelings and desires, brother. Never turn my back on you... ❤️ You do you...
  10. Those Palm-Shelf grips are what all the gay guys do. I'm just sayin'...
  11. What Carbine Receiver Extension are you planning for this one? Excellent choice in parts, by the way.
  12. Great, just like that. Run with scissors with that one.
  13. No, but I make sure it's empty, give it a couple shots with the compressed air, and then wipe the insides with a dryer sheet - kills static electricity instantly. I cross alot of pistol and rifle powders (fast and slow) through the same powder drop. I'd hate to have 1/2 a grain of TiteGroup left in there when I start dropping 5.56 loads. I'd find out fast enough, though, when I pulled that trigger. That one's gonna be a SCREAMER!!!...
  14. The only thing I agree with here is the use of the PRI barrel nut device, and I have one. Everything else you've stated, I do not agree with, especially that recommendation of the Midwest rod over a real Geissele tool. On a Geissele, I can index the upper any way I want in the vise, by rotating it and sliding it back onto the rod. I can work on the bottom of a handguard, the left side, right side - can't do that with a Midwest. Your supposition on breaking an index pin or tearing up an upper receiver is just that - supposition. It's not grounded in reality. If you break an index pin, you replace it. The upper is contained (threaded) inside the barrel nut, so nothing is going to happen to it. My .308 Reaction Rod stays at the gunshop, for my Gun Pusher to use, and when I need it for my own stuff, I go get it from him. He usually doesn't build the Large Frame ARs in the shop, just the 5.56 and other-caliber small-frame stuff. I go in there and build the Large Frames for him. He has his own 5.56 Reaction Rod, and it's built thousands of uppers, never an issue like anything that you're describing. You have a tight barrel nut? Put the right tool on it, and give the end of the breaker bar a sharp whack with a 2lb dead-blow hammer. It breaks free instantly. Unless some dumbass used Loc-Tite on his barrel nut. If it doesn't break free instantly - you know someone built it wrong, and used Loc-Tite. On an unrelated note, if your barrel manufacturers are building their barrels right, the barrel extension is torqued on there to 175lb/ft. You should never be able to get a barrel extension to loosed from a barrel, doing common barrel work - unless you truly intend to remove the extension, and are using the right barrel extension tool. I know you made no mention of that - I'm just throwing that in there. My torque wrenches are Snap-On, so I hope those meet the minimum standard. So is my 1/4" torque driver.
  15. I will get that to him tomorrow, brother!!! Good find!!!
  16. DirtBike Tommy already shot out his barrel in his 6.5C RPR. It doesn't shoot for shiit now, and it's 4~6 months for a new barrel from Ruger. He's pissed. He's probably 3k rounds into it. But the loads weren't "nice" for barrel-life. But, they were badass for distance and accuracy! I'm looking at that situation - exactly - for my .300 Win Mag. I'm punching 225gr projectiles at 2932fps. I'll need a barrel for that thing sooner than I think...
  17. This is how I feel for my brothers here.
  18. This is a bad bitch, my brother...
  19. I need to count your ammo out here, too - you have a PILE. There's definitely no 6.5C in it though...
  20. Do I need to break out the old videos, you on semi, me on bolt, double-tagging targets at night?... Double-Trouble...
  21. Then, I need to turn you into a bolt-gun guy, too. I'm in. It would be my honor, for you, brother... I WANT that gun to whip everyone's ASS!
  22. In these times, brother - that's ALL that counts.
  23. My .260 Rem gas gun has been a particular-embarrasser for certain 6.5C bolt guns in the past - at distance. Ruger RPRs have fallen victim to it. I'll be curious as to how this all works out in the fall... TIc-TACT-Toe at 450 at night will be the tell-all...
  24. Perfect place for this one. I love Noveske. My Mk12 Mod 0 gun is a Noveske set.
  25. JUST IN TIME... for Arizona... Doug Ducey, Governor - LORD DUCEY throughout this Corona-Bullshiit... might have saved the bait here. This might get a bit Spicey, depending on what JoeBama states tomorrow. This was signed in TODAY, Wednesday, 7 Apr 21. https://patriotdailypress.org/2021/04/07/arizona-gov-doug-ducey-signs-bill-to-defy-any-new-federal-gun-control-laws/ Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signs bill to defy any new federal gun control laws April 7, 2021 Republican Gov. Doug Ducey of Arizona signed a bill on Tuesday that would ban local governments and employees from enforcing or aiding any infringement on gun rights imposed by the federal government. House Bill 2111 was passed by the Arizona House and Senate in an attempt to preempt any new regulation of guns by the Biden administration. “The state of Arizona and its political subdivisions are prohibited from utilizing any financial resources or state personnel to administer, cooperate with or enforce any law, act, order, rule, treaty or regulation of the federal government that is inconsistent with any law of this state regarding the regulation of firearms,” read the text of the legislation. Biden has promised to seek a ban on assault weapons and high capacity magazines in the wake of several mass killings after he assumed office. Critics of the bill included Maricopa County Sheriff Paul Penzone who said there was a “political motivation” behind it. “It’s one of those emotional issues but as far as the impact on law enforcement, it will create confusion or challenges more than benefits or protecting the Second Amendment,” Penzone said to KTAR radio on Thursday. Others say that the law will lead to litigation that will have to be paid with taxpayer money. Moms Demand Action, a gun control advocacy group, gathered over 2,400 signatures opposing the bill and presented them to Ducey’s office hours before he signed it into law. Democratic Arizona state Sen. Lisa Otondo assured gun owners that their rights were safe. “Nobody is trying to take away your guns, not for the protection of your family, your property, nor your Second Amendment right to own them,” Otondo said. Despite those assurances, gun sales have skyrocketed first over fears of instability from the pandemic lockdowns and later when President Joe Biden was elected. My notes on that above ^^^. Paul Penzone is a POS DEM Maricopa County Sherriff, that beat out Sheriff Joe - and Sheriff Joe NEVER took any shiit from the Fed Gov, EVER. Penzone is a fucking politician. Not a County Sheriff. All the other shiit-talkers about Lord Ducey's decision today... are all DEMS?!... weird, huh...
