The most pathetic marketing ever comes from a reputable brand
98Z5V replied to beachmaster's topic in General Discussion
Revisiting this thread, I thought I'd add some information. Back in the day, there was a place called Stubborn Mule Outdoor Supply. Sounds innocent, right? SMOS made all of the Noveske receivers. Period. All of them. Back in the day. Well, there's something else about SMOS - they made all of the LaRue receivers, too, before LaRue starting machining their own. Yeah, for real. SMOS was/is no small rinky-dink place - they made the receivers for two companies that have the highest/tightest tolerances in the marketplace. Way back in the day, I almost pulled the trigger on one of the SMOS-branded lowers (SMOS Arms, then) that they offered, that were identical to the LaRue lowers - and LaRue wasn't selling lower receivers then. Only way to get one from LaRue was buy a full gun - back then. Decided I'd wait to the next paycheck - and they were gone from the SMOS website then. FML.. There's a storyline behind what SMOS makes and sells now - and you better believe that what they market now, is VERY high quality parts. https://www.stubbornmule.com/ https://www.firearms4less.com/35_smos-stubborn-mule-outdoor-supply -
Old-time quote here, and I can't resist. The guys that were there will get this one... Especially @sketch "DON'T WASTE IT - SPIT IT IN MY MOUTH!!!"

What do you have on order or in the mail? Part 2

Been telling you guys - they make some VERY FINE AR barrels, and nothing they send out is less than a "match" barrel. They're badass, and they RULE the "weird calibers" all the way. Getting ready to pull the order-button on their .358 Win barrel. -
Keep an eye on these two places: https://www.armorally.com/product-category/ar-parts/ar15/ https://www.schuylerarmsco.com/manufacturer.aero-precision-993

Nah, you don't need to brother - I don't care about that. I care about that Hornady hat, though... 6 Creed is gonna be a large-frame AR, brother - build the wifey a small-frame AR, and make it the ARC.
-
I have a sweet matched M4E1 set here, just sitting. No, wait - that belongs to @Matt.Cross. I can't sell it.
-
Hornady Match is available, but scarce right now. That's the 108 ELD-M projectile. Hornady Black is also available, in a 105gr HPBT loading. Again, scarce. Right now, I don't know of any others that are loading this as factory ammo. This is Hornady's baby, right here. https://ammoseek.com/ammo/6mm-arc https://www.milehighshooting.com/hornady-81608-6mm-arc-108-gr-eld-match-20-box/

Been saying this for awhile now - If you have a Grendel, don't get rid of it to build a 6 ARC gun. Grendel is badass. If you DON'T have a Grendel, and were thinking about one - then just build a 6 ARC gun instead...

Can't locate an online version right now, but grab the newest issue of RECOIL Magazine. 11.5" 6 ARC running head to head with a KAC M110... For real... Here's the cover to look for: Best quote from the whole article: "This isn't a precision rifle capable of a combat role. This is a combat rifle capable of precision." Next best quote, and the wrap-up finish to the article: "In every measure of capability, sans magazine capacity (which is being addressed as we type these words), the 6 ARC totally beats the pants off of everything available that fits within the confines of a standard AR-15 footprint. 900 yards before transonic with a short barrel? 5.56 eat your damned heart out."

You are correct - it's pretty fuckin' stupid. But, it's right in line with Joe Biden's Gun Control Agenda. If you haven't read this yet - it's pretty shocking, what he's planning to do... https://joebiden.com/gunsafety/

Hopefully, that shiit gets sorted out - being the fraud that it is. I don't think Lord (Gov) Ducey is gonna win a re-election next time, though. That Cheese-Dick.

So, balancing priorities here - when I owe Pete for brass, and just committed to buying more .308 brass in another thread... These parts were inbound, and I didn't want you guys thinking I was sitting on my ass here. AP M5 upper receiver, ToolCraft .308 Win nitrided BCG, Wilson Combat Accu-Tac muzzle device, and the right WC gas tube for this 16" barrel. Obviously, no barrel yet, but I've never seen this particular barrel sold-out, ever. No worry on it, even though it's next up on the list - once I pay my brass-pimps. The WC 12" .308-DPMS handguard dream died out - even though I had emails from CS that said they'd do it. Didn't happen. I received a 10" TRIM Rail even after all the discussions back and forth that they'd combine an Armalite 12" TRIM Rail with the DPMS barrel nut. Nope. Got a 10". Noticed right away, too, that the Armalite 12" disappeared from their website, as soon as I received that 10" rail. Hmmm... Whatever. But this will still work, so fuk it. Here's the upper, 10" TRIM Rail, WC Intermediate gas tube in the right position, and the WC muzzle device where it should be - just imagine a barrel there... I'm gettin' there, and it's only a few parts from a complete upper receiver. After that - we start on the lower setup. The WC Accu-Tac reminds me of the AAC Blackout FH, or a BE Meyers muzzle device. No doubt, it'll work.

Nope, not one bit. Still completely legal, and for sale. Buy one now, brother, right from the P80 website. BATFE's BIG PROBLEM was that anyone, anywhere, can "basically" order a complete gun (that they have to work on for a minute), right to their mailbox - felons included. P80 has the "Big Bad Ban States" listed, that they won't ship to - and that's it. Complete pistol, takes a little work, ships to any Free State, no matter who you are or what you've done in the past. That's the "in a nutshell" breakdown, of the whole affair.
-
These are the bad boys, right here the "Buy, Build, Shoot" Kits: https://www.polymer80.com/pistols/bbskits Everything you need to build a complete pistol, shipped straight to your house, even if you're a convicted felon. Therein lies the rub.

You need to be running M14 mags for the Springfield M1A. Several companies make M14 mags that will work in it. The MagPul PMags that you're looking at are for .308ARs in the DPMS LR-308/M110 design, and will not work in any Springfield M1A rifle. Armalite even made a design change for their AR-10 A-Series platform, in order to run those PMags, but they will not work in any Armalite AR-10 B-Series rifle.

Alright, ya bunch of jackasses... Welcome aboard, Frostys. There's a TON of us here from AZ. Usually, you'll see it's the best looking, best shooting people in this group, too.
-
I'm in, brother. I'll contact you. I can't use the .50 BMG, but I'll take all the .308/7.62x51 stuff.

Same as WA. Wet side is all fucked up, dry side is good to go.

Well... You remember when Pelosi was mouthing off about the 25th Amendment, about removing a sitting President, when he's no longer FIT?! Remember the shiit-storm that caused? Hold on... she wasn't talking about trying to remove TRUMP, near the end of his term. She was dusting that topic off, bringing it to memory for people - so they can take out Pedo, Hair-Sniffing, Hugging Joe, early in his term. Hell, they only have to show him garbling a few sentences, making a few gaffes (like he always does), and they can push the 25th against him and remove him. UNFIT, Mentally Not There... Then, it's PRESIDENT Kamala, and VICE PREZ (quess who - the current Speaker of the House) Pelosi... Yeah, that's real. I'm open for research and suggestions, in case I don't understand the US Constitution the way I read it. Bring comments, brothers.
-
Relax, brothers - research first, when you hear things from the MSM... Look into it, find information, find out for yourselves... What is really going on... You'll never get the Real Deal from the MSM "reportings" - that's for sure...

ATF wasn't after the polymer lower kits - they were after the complete build kits, that P80 offered - because they (ATF) stated that an individual could make a complete gun "in a matter of minutes..." Apparently, the ATF has never actually BUILT a P80 Glock lower, if they think it's a "functional gun" "in a matter of minutes..." https://www.recoilweb.com/atf-raids-polymer80-164289.html ATF Raids Polymer80 Forrest Cooper December 11, 2020 To those who still read the paper, this morning may have brought a bit of surprise, as the Wall Street Journal reported the headline “Ghost Gun Company Raided by Federal Agents.” The language itself indicates what the message is intended to convey: with the key words being “raid” and “ghost gun.” While the internet simultaneously laughs at the political theater around ghost guns, and sobers from remembering the problematic track record that certain federal agencies have with conducting raids, no time is lost contemplating what this move implies. Thursday, December 10th, 2020, the ATF entered the property of Polymer80 in Nevada, seizing both documents and what we expect to be part of their inventory as evidence. If the raid doesn't raise hairs, the warrant affiliated with it does, as the build kits were to be suddenly reconsidered as serial-number-requiring firearms. By this determination, Polymer80 could face ramifications for failing to pay taxes affiliated with firearms sales, and be considered an illegal weapons manufacturer. Polymer80 manufactures and sells individual parts and kits based on the Gen 3 Glock platform. They have brought the customization of 80% receivers to the world of handguns, selling the materials and know-how surrounding modern gun smithing. Just as the build-your-own flintlock kit isn't sold as a firearm, Polymer80 does the same thing, but with a polymer lower, striker-fired handgun. Dangerous Words The article in the Wall Street Journal, however, should continue to draw the attention of any who may read it. As the author writes of ghost guns, they reveal that the nick name used by some people, is considered as a defining term by others. As 80% Receivers were not regulated as firearms, they were not identified as the specific target of the raid. Rather, they went after a builder's kit possessing the attributes of a firearm according to the warrant paperwork. The relationship between a people and their government will long entertain the imaginations of philosophers and political theorists, but it takes physical form in situations like this. Challenging the authorities has been in vogue for long enough to make a mess of stories like this. The Wall Street Journal has published a statement saying that the firearms industry should expect greater scrutiny, and for many, that simply translates to regulation. The New Normal? Pistol Braces and 80% receivers have both made a stir as products “approved” by the ATF. Following this, they quickly entered the market in force, finding themselves in the hands of millions of Americans. An item, which at one point was approved is suddenly not, with swift action to follow. After brief investigation, it turns out that a variation is the target, not the original and it is left further unclear what the expectations are for appropriate inquiry. This is only exacerbated when those asking for clarification receive regulation as their reward. In the article, it is stated that the ATF considers these build kits as firearms because they believe the buyer could assemble a pistol in minutes. Polymer80 will likely make a statement about this in the near future, in the mean time, 80% receivers are still for sale.

Yes, indeed it would. They don't have the heart, or the intestinal fortitude, though. Wouldn't be much of a fight. ANTIFA gonna be throwing quick-mix concrete in water bottles at us?... Bring that strategy...

Lancer mags are amazing. That's all I'd have, if I was buying new. I have a substantial stockpile of other mags that work, and won't be getting rid of them, though. Not with Obiden-Harris right around the corner... I might take them all on a boating trip before the inauguration. Feel bad for them, some haven't been out in awhile, and need a vacation weekend getaway thing.

115 lbs of weight on your back will make you miss shots. She was joking, and said she'd jump on me. Told her "Go for it, it won't make a difference..." She jumped down and spread out like a Spider Monkey, too... Had a 205 lb Army buddy that used to sit directly in the middle of my back, when trying to make longer shots, "Just for training..." he says... He was a dickhead for doing that, but it makes you focus, whilst being fucked with.

Just talking with Greg on the phone, on his nightshift, and he had to get off the call to stop a shiithead. Reminded of how proud I am of any and all LEOs that do what they do, in today's world. They cannot get ENOUGH support, from everyone, with what they have to deal with, on a daily basis. And that made me think of this old pic, right here:
