I wouldn't fight him...
-
That thing is a monster! He's gotta be 8 feet long, stretched up like that - because I know you ain't a 5-footer yourself... That Valk finally did it - what were you loaded with?

I'm holding out, right now Doc. Waiting on brass. Going to backorder a bunch. Seems that nobody around here with a .243 Win bolt gun likes those 108 ELD-Ms, and I snatch a box of them every other week. I'm up to 900 projectiles. Sitting on 16lbs of Accurate 2520, that I use for my Grendel loads. I'm always on the hunt for the (now elusive) CCI 41 primers, though. I have feelers out all over the place for those things. I did make another call to LaRue right after the Fall Shoot - that was the 5-month mark. They told me I had a little bit longer to wait, and stated I was told from the beginning that what I ordered would be a 6-month wait - so I challenged the guy on that. No, I was told 1~3 months, at one week. I was told 2~4 months, at one month. I was told 5~6 months, at 4 months. I've been good about the calls, and bugging them, but December 17th is 6 months, and they'll get a call. I specifically asked for information on what was holding my shipment up, because DirtBike Tommy ordered a 5.56 18" Ultimate Upper mid September, and got it in 7 weeks... Told the guy that. Told him to be straight with me - he told me the Grendel barrel is holding me up... Shiit, we shot Tommy's 18" 5.56 LaRue last weekend... We'll see how the December 17th phonecall goes...
-
Shiit... This is gonna be a big $$$ one, and one heavy-ass box... If you need to arrange freight, we can deliver it to my work. I have a forklift there, and I'll offload it from the trailer...

I think he missed that post, Mike...

Now, you're just being a bitch, and attacking Mack. That won't be met well here. You can drop the chip on your shoulder now, and fit in, or you can just continue being a dickhead, and you'll just be treated like a dickhead here. Your choice. Tell me how you feel about that. Not that I care about feelings, in the least. You choose your path, and we'll meet you right there at your path. We'll meet you with greetings and salutations, or we'll meet you with combat. Your choice doesn't matter to us - we do both well.

That's been going on for years, man - banking institutions cutting off gun companies and the gun collective. That's now new. That's why McMillan started their own banking program back in the day. It won't end. There's always a push - whatever they can think of to try to control the gunners, by the anti-gunners. Liberalism is the issue. Trying to control Constitutionalists. It'll never end. Social Media, and "social justice warriors" are a huge problem. Cancel-Culture is a big problem. It's literally Whiners that complain to retail companies until those companies cave in to their bullshiit propaganda and views. That's the very largest threat, right now. SJW, and all the bulshiit that those weakass weakminded fuckers create, in the retail system in this country. They literally CONTROL it, and it's sad. Retailers are just afraid of pissing off their Google reviews or their Yelp Reviews. Fucked up what this country has become.

Dug into it a little, and it didn't take long. This is all bullshiit. Read this: https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/the-atfs-false-narrative-surrounding-the-legality-of-sb-tactical-pistol-braces-exposed/

THIS RIGHT HERE is why we have to waterboard people for information... You would be the very first person on this board with a working, running Gibbz side-charger. Very first one. Let's see how this thing shoots.

Fuk 'em. Right in the neck.

What do you have on order or in the mail? Part 2

.300 Black? What 5.56 mags are you thinking about? And what projectiles are you running. I've been down this road, man. Can give advice. -

This is gonna be even better than the Grendelization of Matt Cross... -
That combo meets "the okay" category, so build it and fire it up first. If you need to get into matching the lower to the feed ramps that the barrel extension has, then use the "Dremel Chainsaw Sharpening Bit." Every Ace Hardware that I've ever been in carries these things. It looks like this: It's an easy task to perform, as the soft(er) aluminum will give way to your efforts, long before that steel barrel extension will - there's little worry of jacking up your barrel extension, if you pay attention to what you're doing. Fear not, if you take that course of action. Obviously, you'd pick another product and polish those nice new feed ramps that you put in your upper, so again, little fear of having projectiles smashing into rough-cut aluminum. Think it through - it's a very simple task.

Wilson combat put barrels on sale for some pretty deep discounts, if any of you guys that do "different calibers" for ARs - I'm a fan, and do them. They didn't list the barrel I want now on sale, but they do have some decent deals. Worth a look.

Amazing amount of info, brother - nice post!

Don't know how many of you have ever seen any of Officer Smith, but the guy is hilarious.

I loved watching WKRP... Awesome, Doc!!!

Ballistic Advantage now has their 6ARC barrels listed on their website. None in stock right now, but they're listed... https://www.ballisticadvantage.com/ar15-barrels/6mm-arc

I've wanted to do something like that for YEARS, man! Onsite MX track on the bike-shop side, onsite range on the gun-shop side, with a man-made lake in the middle with RV hookups... Steakhouse/saloon/brothel right in the middle of both shops.

Weather data, for those that are interested in this stuff: 8am 55.9* F pressure 28.49 in/hg 1351 altitude 1570 Density Altitude. ^^^ That's when @JBMatt was shooting. Here's when I was shooting my first attempt: 8:49am 70.0* F pressure 28.49 in/hg 1351 altitude 2700 Density Altitude. Load data: Federal .300 Win Mag brass, once fired, all trimmed to the minimum length with a Lee Case Length Gauge/trimmer. 225gr Hornady ELD-M, 2803 fps with CCI 250 primers, 71.8gr RL-22, hand-trickled in a beam scale. Loaded to 3.340" COL, all ran through the Lee Factory Crimp die at the end of the load process. Gun data: Rem 700 Long Range, 26" heavy barrel, 1:10" twist, Nikon Black1000 6~24 SFP scope in Warne Maxima steel rings, non-QD, sitting on an EGW 30 MOA rail. Vortex scope-mounted bubble level. KRG Bolt Lift (the original one) on the bolt handle. Timney 517 V2 trigger (flat trigger @ 2.5lb pull), Bell & Carlson M40 stock, MagPul DBM setup with 5-rd mags. Magpul Slingstud Bipod. Scope is zero'd for 500 yards, because it's bottomed out there, with the 30 MOA rail on the gun. Total dial travel for elevation is 22.6 mils, which would take me out past 2000 yards. 2000 on my dope chart actually comes up to 21.7 mils.

If you deliver the shiithead to him, I'm sure you'll get store credit, brother...

Damn, that's pretty cool!

Gonna have to search: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=us+made+ar15+brass+catcher Hit the Intro Section, and tell us all about yourself.

Compare to this - tell what you have.

Amazing, brother - what a hoot!... And thank you, greatly, for spotting all the misses... You were on, calling my "not-on yets!" Minor clicks for major adjustments, stay close, and the advice of "don't chase it with clicks." What we figured out there towards the middle of the day - 1/10 mil adjustments, at 1760 yards = 6.3" every time you click one. This is gonna be a regular thing here, now. We need Gun Pusher John to get that damn .375 CheyTac out there. Pronto!...
