12" or 12.5" Grendels just FUCKING ROCK!...

I have to chime in on this one. This video was launched right before SHOT Show last year (2019). From Odin. TWO YEARS ago, Sprinco launched this concept AT SHOT Show (2018), and we caught it here, and it's smart as fuk. Bottom line is easy - you buy the appropriate kit that you'll need, and you can tune your buffer to what YOUR GUN needs. It's smart as hell. No more bullshiit buffers from bullshiit companies. No more "too light" buffers in .308ARs, not with these. My question is easy - anybody find either the Sprinco adjustable or the Odin Adjustable on the market anywhere?... Game-changing concept. Pure fucking brilliance in manufacturing. Give me a link to buy one...

Anybody have a working RCBS Ammomaster Chronograph?

Since I'm on that Mk 262 kick, read this article on it: https://www.shootingtimes.com/editorial/special-forces-to-civilians-black-hills-mk-262-mod-1-review/99098 THIS kind of load development is what you want from ALL your handloads... Regardless of caliber... -

History. Knowing these calibers, and what they need to do, in order to be effective. Example: Clone some 5.56 Mk262 ammo - that 77gr projectile needs - NEEDS - to leave the muzzle at 2750 fps. THAT is where the magic happens with that load, from an 18" Mk12. That's 5.56 loading perfection, right there. If it's below that - it's just gonna suck. If it's above 2750fps - that's your magic. My handloads for that on my 5.56 Mk12 guns are 2780fps - and the thing is a Dragon Slayer... You need to know what the load is capable of, where it's exceptional, and where it sucks. Once you know that - you load to "beat or match the exceptional" and not have pressure signs, from YOUR gun. That is your holy grail, brother... -

I don't care about barrel harmonics with this - I just care about the speed, and I'll take the accuracy results I get. Speed is the number I need, to further refine my handloads. After I hit the "needed speed that I need", and make my minimum speed numbers - then I don't need this device for further load development. THAT is when I start tweaking loads, for accuracy. Eh, my $0.02 on the whole affair. -
Cool - then just answer the question, and remove the doubt. Post your info.

There has to be more to this story... -
You can position a tripod backwards - and it'll do what you're talking about. There's really only one way to properly position a tripod. How'd you have it positioned?

What are the differences between Ar-10 BCG and LR308 BCG?

We don't care what the caliber is, here. Read around - you'll see that quick. -
I've been in ALOT of Blackhawks, brother, UH-60s and MH-60s. Lot of CH-47s and MH-47s, too. And alot of MH-53s. All those MH birds had miniguns. The giveaway in the pic was the skin of the aircraft, where the rivets were in the skin, compared to the door-gunners window. There isn't an AC-130 that has a gunner exposed, though - the only thing exposed through the skin of the aircraft is the barrels of the different gun systems. AC-130s are a different animal altogether, on another level from rotary-wing armed aircraft. Oh, and FUK MH-53s. They're a hoot to ride in, but it's always terrifying. They're never fun to fast-rope out of. It takes a ton of Intestinal Fortitude to go off that ramp, reach a few feet after the end of the ramp, just to grab that rope. You need to ratchet your nuts up TIGHT to 'rope out of the back of that fucking flying contradiction. Marines all fast rope through the Hell Hole, which is gay - and there's nothing "fast" about it. Roping off the ramp is another world. Rotor wash from that thing, hovering 60 feet AGL, is 100mph on the ground - that makes the rope off the tailgate stand out there at 45* away from the aircraft... It's a leap of faith to leave that ramp, and nail that Fast Rope... You only have one chance, every time you do it. You really only get ONE CHANCE to fuk it up... Fuk those 53s.

There is a big thread here on BCG differences, between Armalite and DPMS-based. -

I've read through this, and I was JUST ABOUT to ask you what the INTERNAL DEPTH of the Receiver Extension was. NOT the external length measurement. That thing is your major problem. The buffer weight that you listed is also a major problem - it need to be 5.4oz. AR15 H3 Carbine buffer is 3.250" long, and weighs 5.4oz. Armalite AR-10 Carbine buffer is 3.250" long, and weighs 5.4oz. Strange how that works. -
These got delivered yesterday - that was FAST. Midsouth Shooters Supply, they were the blems at $26.99/100. Right on the front of their website, it says "4~14 days for processing, because of COVID." Last order from them took a minute, but it was worth it - the wait for 6 ARC loaded ammo. 4 days and it was here, this time. Well done, Midsouth.

You can calculate your MPBR with this tool: Pay attention to the block for "Vital Zone Radius" when you're filling this in. https://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmtraj-5.1.cgi ...You haven't said anything about the ammo or the gun you're using for hunting. All the details on those two items will need to be input into the fields on that program.

That IS badass - but that's the left door (Crew Chief door) on a Blackhawk.

@Lane, I picked up a MagnetoSpeed this summer, because of the weird stuff (high speeds) with my .308 handloads in the 105*~110* temps. The MagnetoSpeed is pretty damn nice. I did the V3 that comes in the hard case, has all the adapters. Figured it needed to work on many guns. Very impressed with it's operation, once set up correctly - all you need to do is get that 1/4" space of the rib on that thing below your projectile path out of the muzzle. So, setup isn't hard - once you get it for that AR15, it's pretty much gonna be the same on another, as long as the barrel profile is close. Worth the investment to me. Used it on a few other people's gun the following weekend, gathering data on their hunting loads. -
NAKED. The picture of Shepp with one of these - he's NAKED. I've seen the advertising proofs. Pretty impressive, I'm saying. Naked 6ft Ginger Viking with guns, shields, armor... Ready For Battle... It gets your attention, that's for sure.

I can't believe that you gave that up - we ALL agreed to NEVER talk about it...
